The cottage is set within a walled property consisting of the main house and the cottage in a 5000m2 plot. Within the cottage you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed linen are of 100% cotton and the pillows and duvet of goose down, ensuring your best rest possible. Relax in this calm, stylish space where comfort is a priority.

Aldeia De Luz - a warm and friendly welcome awaits you in our unique home. Each bedroom has its own character and the outside space is a delight. Our pool is available to you along with a beautiful patio and bbq area. Aldeia De Luz is a short walk from typical Portuguese restaurants and a short drive from supermarkets. Public transport is infrequent, a car is preferable. Palmela Castle is close-by, as is the Arrábida Natural Park. Beaches, Setúbal, Lisbon and the airport are within easy reach.

Arriving at Olival de São Filipe means first stopping to take in the view. The high location of the seven-hectare estate provides rich vistas. “Even more beautiful than in the pictures”, is a frequently heard response. The panorama is varied and changes constantly under the influence of the sun, clouds and water. You look out over the Atlantic Ocean, the Tróia peninsula - with a sandy beach as far as the eye can see - the Fort of São Filipe, the mouth of the Sado river and the city of Setúbal.
