Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Shared driveway next to main house. Not suitable for children or pets.

Right on the edge of nature reserves this is perfect for cyclists and bird watchers. In the winter months you can witness the famous murmurations. Recently renovated with love, this 17th Century house has modern features in a traditional build. With gorgeous walls made of stone, the attention to detail creates a wonderful environment, whether it be cosiness or relaxation you wish for, or even a little dinner party! Lower Godney is a charming community in the Somerset levels. Fields and farm animals a plenty, we are also lucky enough to be surrounded by nature & bird reserves. It goes without saying the walking and biking is heavenly!

Close to Wells, Burnham-on-Sea, Weston-Super-Mare & the beautiful cities of Bath & Bristol. Perfect location for bird watching (see the starling murmurations Nov-Feb) nature walks & the famous traditional Wilkins Cider Farm is an easy stroll.The cottage has amazing views with own patio area & wildlife pond. Very tranquil, good for couples, solo adventurers, remote working.

Large Bathroom, balconies, studio kitchenette, king sized bed and one optional sofa bed. Parking . Continental breakfast included.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Easy access to Cheddar Gorge with its staggering caves, Glastonbury Tor and Abbey rich in myth and legend and Wells with its magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace.

Rookham View Lodge is located on a smallholding on top of the Mendips overlooking Wells. Relax on the patio, catch a view of the Red Kite soaring high, or visit the sheep, ponies, goats, ducks and chickens in the surrounding field. Get active on the many footpaths leading from our property, gently cycle the Somerset levels or try the more challenging rides on the Mendip Hills. Active or relaxing - we guarantee you will enjoy the view from our Lodge at the end of your day.

The Dairy

The Dairy is a modern and spacious barn conversion in a quiet rural location with all the essential amenities for a long stay or short break. It is the perfect location to explore Somerset and the West Country by car, bike or on foot, with the beautiful Cathedral City of Wells just a 5 minute drive away or a 20 minute walk. Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury Tor are also just a 15 minute car journey. The village pub is also within walking distance of the property.
