The cabin was built with the nature enthusiast in mind. Perched upon a cliff with western exposure sunsets, abundance of nature and an outdoor living area. The property also has access to waterfront with a grand dock to swim and relax on. Bring your boat as you will have access to the private boat launch. 1 pet dog allowed.

Welcome to our Tranquil A-Frame Cottage! Relax, refocus and rejuvenate at this newly refurbished chalet perched on a secluded hill surrounded by evergreens. The perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle/bustle and technology. Modern amenities include gas fireplace, A/C, washer/dryer, TV, Record Player, DVD Player. Connect with nature, snuggle up by the fireplace, read a book, play a board game or listen to some vinyl and unwind. There is NO INTERNET but there is spotty LTE/cell service.

Welcome to the cottage. A quiet and picturesque waterfront property on the Madawaska River / Kamaniskeg Lake water system. A brief walk from the Hinterland public beach, and short drive (10 minutes) to all local amenities and shops in Barry's Bay. The cottage is equipped with 2 master bedrooms (queen beds) and 1 single smaller bedroom (twin). The main cottage is equipped with one bathroom. The property also has a renovated guest house that is equipped with its own full bathroom /shower

Rolling Rapids Retreat

Listen to the sound of the gentle rapids and birds singing as you reacquaint yourself with nature at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sit on the dock and watch the sunset. Sip a drink by the indoor wood burning fireplace while looking out the window at moving water. Watch the leaves change colour and fall from the trees. Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock. Rolling Rapids Retreat is a private riverside cabin that is designed for couples or solo travellers.

At night, savor the lakeside propane fire pit, watch a movie on the projector from your plush bed, or gaze at the stars through the dome's large porthole. Welcome to beautiful Kamaniskeg Lake located in the Madawaska Valley, approx an hour North of Bancroft. It offers about 90 km of boating, as it is connected to the Madawaska River. The town of Barry’s Bay is at the northern end of Kamaniskeg Lake, and Combermere is at the south. Our cottage is located in Combermere on the south side near Hinterland's sandy beaches...enjoy all the great outdoors has to offer or just kick back, relax, take in the view and the sounds of nature.

Beautiful view with deck on the lake. Main floor is open concept kitchen (furnished), living and dining room. Full bath with shower. Master bedroom with queen. Wheelchair accessible. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage includes a floating dock with swim ladder, bbq, woodburning outdoor firepit, canoe, kayaks, woodburning indoor fireplace, smart tv with starlink satellite.
