The traditional Italian farmhouse lies within the vineyard landscape of the Piedmont, a Unesco world heritage site. The Barn was kept as a large open space, hosting the kitchen, living and dining area. The 15-meters long window defines the transition between the inner and outside landscape while leaving the old brick pillars exposed. The kitchen is equipped with a Gaggenau oven and stove, 2 refrigerators ensuring cool drinks at all times and 2 dish washers for a swift clean up. The large indoor table as well as the one on the connecting terrace easily sits 12-14 guests each. Upon request we can organize for a personal chef to come up to the house to cook for larger groups. Please get in touch with us for more information and availability. The 6 en-suite bedrooms offer a contemporary design based on simplicity. Each bathroom is equipped with a shower while one of the rooms, our Suite, has an additional bathtub. This room can easily function as a family room in which case we are happy to provide a baby cot / crib or additional single beds. The outside space offers many hidden areas to find some quiet time when on holiday with larger groups. The courtyard with its many flower islands has a gravel surface perfect for that evening game of Boccia while enjoying your aperetivo. On the opposite side of the Barn you’ll find a field of over 200 lavender plants, several pergolas and a lovely stone patio to enjoy the last ray of sunshine. No matter where you choose to relax, the entire property offers stunning views of the vineyards and on certain days even a glimpse of the snow covered alps. A rustic stone staircase leads down to the salt water infinity pool. Embedded within the surrounding landscape this magical place needs no further introduction. Last but not least, a small wooden gate leads directly from the property into the vineyards from where you can enjoy a beautiful walk to the top of the hill where a romantic little chapel awaits you. A short drive (10-15 min) into the Valley you’ll find the two towns of Cossano Belbo and Santo Stefano Belbo. Especially Santo Stefano offers a selection of supermarkets, bars and excellent restaurants. Truffle hunters will be happy to hear that the city of Alba and its famous truffle market is only a 30 minutes drive away. If you wish to escape the beautiful landscape of the langhe hills then the Ligurian Sea or the historical city of Turin can both be reached just under an hour. The ancient Roman city Acqui Terme with it’s famous thermal springs is also only a 35 min drive away and if you want to treat yourself to a world class spa treatment then the 5 star hotel Relais San Maurizio with its Michelin star restaurant is just on the other side of our hill or a short 10 min drive. L'appartamento è formato da 2 camera da letto, 1 bagno, 1 incantevole zona giorno e cucina dotata di ogni comfort.

Overlooking Roero and Langhe Hills, Casa Malrotti is elegant, while relaxed and homely. Homely because it is our home. We live in a part of the property with separate entrance. We love having people come to enjoy the house and gardens and meeting new people from all over the world. Situated with its back to the village of Govone, the only views are that of nature giving you the best of both worlds. Sauna and Hot Tub available all year with salt water pool open in-season (April - September).

The hilltop villa is surrounded by a private park and the renovation has just been completed, with the lowest environmental impact and maximum comfort: photovoltaic system, underfloor heating, electric car and bike charging. Outside there are ample spaces to enjoy. Each floor is autonomous and has modern kitchens, bathrooms, living and dining areas. The attic has two bathrooms and two connected rooms. The terrace offers an incomparable panorama, in the context of the Unesco heritage site.
