Welcome to Stu's corner me 'ansomes, the perfect smugglers hideaway not far from the A30, Bodmin moor and the infamous Jamaica Inn - the home of Dick Penworthy the famous highwayman and his cat the Beast of Bodmin - some say his distant relatives still drink in the bar, and keep your eyes peeled fer 'is cat because 'ees huuge - a true beast, I know cos I seen im! Anyway me beauties back to Luxulyan, tis a beautiful little village nestled right 'ere in the centre of Kernow amongst the granite boulders. You will find all sorts; miners, smugglers, wreckers and of course the Luxulyan valley featured on TV, and some say, did have the deepest copper mine in all Kernow owned by Mr Treffry 'imself. While you're 'ere why not take a train ride to Newquay, my beauties as we 'ave our own station, stick yer hand out mind to make 'im stop. Visit some of our local ports like Polperro - a little smugglers port steeped in local history with its own museum. Fowey of course with all its fine eateries, frequent tall ships visiting and don't forget regatta week. There's Polkerris beach too with its inn on the sand, and then there's Charlestown me 'ansomes, often seen in the Poldark series re named as Truro quay. To top it all only a short hike or 10 minutes on your 'oss is the iconic World famous Eden Project home of the Domes and the acclaimed Eden music sessions and they'm bleddy loud cos we can 'ear em from 'ere. Luxulyan is also world known for 'Luxullianite' a very special rock cos tis pink and was used to make the Duke of Wellingtons coffin, so they say, and shipped out of Par, can't say for sure though cos I wasn't there. While you're stayin' 'ere we have a local pub serving good food, we have a well stocked shop and post office and not forgetting the pretty little church. There's plenty of parking for your 'oss and cart right next to mine and tis a beauty cos I bought it off Cap'n Poldark 'imself. So that's it me 'amsomes, look forward to seeing you all 'ere. Old Walled Lodge at Old walled Gardens Prideaux

Old walled lodge is situated in a beautiful hamlet of Prideaux. This quite secluded lodge for two has amazing far reaching views with plenty of wildlife,whether you want to kick back and relax on the veranda, a keen cyclist and want to explore the beautiful Luxulyan valley or maybe walk the saints way which is all on our doorstep. we are a 20 minute walk to the famous Eden project. 10 minute drive to Historic Charlestown with lovely restaurants & Carlyon bay with its golf course. Fowey 7 miles.

The Barn

The Barn is a perfect escape for a couple. A spacious open-plan barn with kitchen and living room, flagstone floor and underfloor air-source heating and an overhead sleeping platform. Stylish self-contained shower room. Large library of books and collection of board games and extensive gardens and grounds. The Old Chapel Of Rest

The Old Chapel is a unique property. The ground floor offers a fully equipped kitchen, living room with dining area and WC. The upper floor boasts a spacious bedroom with a Super King bed, built in wardrobe and bathroom. Our Chapel is in a fantastic central location, just a few minutes drive away from the Port of Charlestown where Poldark is filmed and Tall Ships are usually docked. A short drive will take you to multiple beaches, restaurants and the famous Eden Project. Welcome to Cornwall!

The Burrow

The Burrow is a quirky and snuggly little bolthole. Small, well behaved dogs are welcome. (No large breeds. Maximum cocker spaniel size, PLEASE respect this). Enjoy the fenced, enclosed garden with views across the fields. A short walk from the local dog friendly pub. kitchen, lounge with woodburner (logs supplied). Smart TV, wifi, king size bed, (electric blanket in winter), air fryer, shared washing machine/dryer, parking and storage for bikes etc. Private hot tub, (bring flip flops!)

The Little Barn is located on the historic Saints Way in the quiet hamlet of Kilhallon. It's split-level accommodation features an open-plan living room and kitchen/dining area with a double bedroom and shower room. There is a garden and patio area to enjoy, with onsite parking. An EV charger is also available. Local attractions nearby include the Eden Project, the Harbour towns of Fowey and Charlestown and the Saints Way itself which is popular with walkers.

The Lobster Pot - Stylish apartment in Fowey

The Lobster Pot is a newly renovated apartment set in the historic centre of Fowey. The property which is situated in Bull Hill is accessed via steps leading to a pedestrian pathway that sits above Fore Street. Discount will be applied for a stay of 7 or more days. Pubs, restaurants and quays are all within a couple of minutes walk. Readymoney Beach is a short stroll away and there are many beautiful coastal walks nearby. No pets are allowed.
