Nestled at the head of Pigeon Hill Bay, our cottage is surrounded by 20 acres of fields, marshland, private walking paths, and a private pebble beach on the ocean with views of the Atlantic. Acadia National Park is nearby (1 hour plus) or take the ferry (20 minutes away) to BarHarbor. Acadia Park Schoodic Point is a must see (20 minutes). Enjoy our kayaks, our recommended day trips, blueberry picking, visiting white-tailed deer. For a full week stay we serve a lobster shore dinner for two.

With birds chirping, sunrise waters shimmering & cool ocean breezes, you’ll swear you woke up in heaven! This updated 1/1 cottage has Starlink wifi, large outdoor deck, HOT TUB (newly added) , AC, fire pit & grill. 45 mins away from Acadia NP & Bar Harbor, you’ll appreciate the quiet and not being in the hustle & bustle of town. Grocery & food 12 mins away.

Hummingbird

Hummingbird sits about 50 feet from our house and about 150 feet from the shore of Joy Bay. Looking out the windows, you only see woods and water. There are no neighbors in sight. We have a dog who sees it as her duty to give everyone an enthusiastic greeting. The building is 12x16 and has a small bathroom and kitchenette. For cooking, there is an induction cooktop, a toaster oven, and pots and pans. The patio is 10’ by 16’ and has a table with 2 chairs, a gas grill, and an outdoor cooktop.

Located on 2.5 acres of ocean frontage with easy access to the waters edge to launch the kayaks. Cabin includes all the amenities including open floor plan and Rinnai propane heater and heat pump. Firepit is ready for hours of fun.

We fell in love with this quiet coastal sanctuary, the perfect place to reconnect with nature while staying on grid. ☪ At night you'll experience deafening silence under the natural light of the stars. Here you will have easy access to multiple hiking/walking trails (one directly from the home), a grocery store(10 min.), local restaurants, Acadia National Park(1hr.), Schoodic Point(45 min.), Saint Stephen, Canada(1hr 45min.), and so much more!
