Horton farm cottage located on 40 acres.

Located a few hundred feet from the Iris gardens at Horton farm, a six acre garden space with over 1400 Iris varieties. Bloom season is April and May. The cottage was built in 1945 on my family's heritage farm. She's located next to the old barn alongside a small Creek. Inside you'll find a fresh colorful landscape of hand made cabinets, concrete countertops and furniture. The heated and Polished concrete floor is ready for farm life. You'll be delighted in the vintage items and local artwork.

Stateline Lookout hiking trail is across the street. Northstar, Diamond Peak and Mount Rose resorts are 10-15 minutes away by car.

Beautiful house close to town and in the trees

Cancellations due to fire or Smokey air -allowed. Fragrance free cleaning products Wood floors, washer/dryer stocked kitchen Central heat. Air conditioning. High end mattresses. The house is off of a main road close to downtown Nevada City but in the tallest trees. There is some car noise during rush hour but none of that can be heard from inside of this very well insulated house. No loud parties. We do host dogs and occasionally cats.

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road.
