Crockets cottage

New extensively renovated beautiful home from home 3 bedroomed house in the beautiful, friendly village of Keills. Approximately 1 mile from PORT ASKAIG ferry terminal where you can also get the ferry to Jura, five minute crossing. Free parking available outside of house, back and front garden with outside seating available, swing park and playing field’s on doorstep. There are 3 Distillery’s nearby Bunnahabhain, Coal Ilà and Ardnahoe with a further six distillery’s throughout the Island.

Fabulous round house on the west coast of Scotland

The DRUM at Dunmore is a stunning elliptical house with a sloping roof and high ceilings, clad in charred larch with orange window frames and painted wooden floors. Designed by architect Roderick James and built by a crack team of smashing local chaps, the Drum is a perfect bolt hole for two. It has a wood burning stove and a big squashy velvet sofa, floor to ceiling triple glazed windows and is nestled in woodland on a small estate (complete with castle) and just moments from the sea.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. The Shepherd's Hut

Our off grid Shepherds Hut sleeps 2 and is ideal for one or two night stays on Jura that are low key, low maintenance stays. It's glamping rather than a serviced stay. If you've missed the ferry or you've been washed out of your tent then our Shepherd's Hut would be perfect for you. It has a chemical-loo and a small wood burning stove for heat. A double bed, storage, chair, picnic table, and we can provide water and a jet boil to make coffee. Please bring camping gear for cooking.

Tangy Lodge, Relaxing Coastal Home, Amazing View

Tangy Lodge is located right by the coast, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind for the whole family. Just a 10 minute drive from Campbeltown and 1 mile away from Westport beach (famous for its fantastic surfing), the area is known for its traditional whisky distilleries, outstanding scenery and the classic song "Mull of Kintyre". The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Taigh na Dhot

Ideal for couples or family with 2 children. Very comfortably furnished and well equipped flat. A home from home. Taigh na Dhot is within easy travelling distance to distilleries at the north end of the Island. A 10 minute drive to the ferry terminal at Port Askaig. Craigard cafe is in the village and a short walk away is the award winning whisky bar at Ballygrant Inn which has excellent food reviews also. The main township of Bowmore is a 15 minute drive away.

Persabus Farm Cottage, Port Askaig

Persabus is the gateway to the north Islay distilleries. Persabus Cottage is situated within walking distance of Ardnahoe, Caol ila and Bunnahabhain Distilleries, on a working hill farm. It is close to the bus stop for accessing the South Islay distilleries. With beautiful views of the Sound of Islay and the Paps of Jura. Persabus Cottage was the original farmhouse and has a large farmhouse kitchen, private garden, an open fire as well as oil CH.
