The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

Little Cove Cottage: a charming studio in Mathews County with private entrance. Mathews is a rural town with several beautiful beaches close by and many areas to access the water. This apartment offers a small water view of the North River, with a pier and boat ramp just 400 yards away. Bring your Kayaks or use ours. . We are just minutes away from the Mobjack and Chesapeake Bays. Mathews is home to great restaurants with fresh seafood. We also have a wonderful farmer's market. Come enjoy!

Stargazer Tiny Cabin

(Winter: Stargazer has a diesel heater and a woodstove but is not insulated. The cabin can be kept quite warm into the low 30's if these heaters are running. Below freezing may freeze pipes, message for info) Rustic off grid tiny cabin tucked in the trees on the back side of a large field. The cabin has solar, kitchenette, shower, composting bathroom, heat, and Wifi! Enjoy being immersed in nature while staying comfortable in a quirky cabin built from local and reclaimed materials.

The Llama House

Located half-way between Mathews and Gloucester on the beautiful North River with views of the Mobjack Bay, New Point Comfort Lighthouse and Gloucester Point. The ideal spot for anyone needing to reconnect with someone, nature, or themselves. Our guest cottage is the perfect retreat for a quiet getaway or a quick commute to local historical sites. We are located on a family farm property dating back to the 1880's. Although the old farmhouse is gone our home with attached cottage is filled with decor built by the owner with reclaimed wood from the original home. We are adjacent to Beaverdam Park and located 2 miles from Main Street which boasts the historic Gloucester Courthouse dating back to 1651.
