Mini Cow Cottage! Peaceful Farm Getaway

Come enjoy this peaceful private getaway in a beautiful country setting that is still close to town and the bourbon trail. The cottage offers two bedrooms (one king, one queen) and one bath with an open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, W/D, front and back covered porches, and don't forget the animals! We have mini Highland and High Park cattle, a horse, friendly barn cats, and spacious natural surroundings. There is also a walking trail along the woods, and a beautiful pond. Dogs welcome too!

Neighborhood is partially wooded, you may see wild turkeys, fox, and owls! 2 min from 700acre Iroquois Park, 10min from Churchill Downs, 17 minutes from downtown, and 7 minutes from the Louisville International airport.

A nicely appointed lake house with rustic contemporary decor. Gourmet kitchen includes dishes, cookware and small appliances as well as a deluxe espresso/cappuccino maker. House is located in a gated, private community with a 320 acre lake up to 70 ft deep. Only pontoon boats and fishing boats permitted, ensuring a quiet lake experience and wake-free dock sitting. Two kayaks, canoe, paddle board and some basic fishing equipment for guest use. Pontoon rental by owner - separate contract.

💖 A cozy, pastel-colored tiny home tucked away on 15 shared acres in Louisville. This 30ft home on wheels was built with heart and purpose, offering a quiet place to unwind while still being in the city. It’s a compact space with the basics you need for a short stay. This is not a luxury rental but a personal project that my dad and I built it during COVID after I lost my job. Using mostly reclaimed and recycled materials, this space became both my creative outlet and a fresh start.🌙🌿

There are a plethora of activities from shopping to entertainment venues such as horse racing at historic Churchill Downs, Louisville Zoo, Kentucky Kingdom amusement park, Muhammad Ali museum and childhood home, Louisville Slugger Museum, Valhalla golf club, and 36 Bourbon Distilleries as well as cave exploring and fishing.

The Pearman Trail is steps from the front porch, just across the railroad tracks, and leads to the public boat ramp, Historic Civil War Fort Duffield and the 7 miles of hike/bike trails which surround it. We are located in South Louisville and pretty much centrally located to everything in the City of Louisville. We are 10 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Churchill Downs, 15 minutes from downtown attractions, close to interstate access and 1 mile from a park. Also, our guests are welcome to relax by our koi ponds and to see my husband’s fish aquariums in his Fish House by just walking through gate at the guest house. We pride ourselves on Southern Hospitality!

Forest Edge Winery, James Beam Distillery, and MillaNova Winery are a 10-15 minute drive and many other attractions are nearby. You and your pets can "wine down" at Wyandot!

Kentucky Derby Guest House

The Kentucky Derby guest house is an affordable place to stay that’s comfortable with plenty of room. Sleeps 6 comfortably with 3 queen beds w/ linens but there is plenty of room for more guests with SELF SUPPLIED air mattresses and bedding, we do not supply them. Great for an overnight stay on a road trip , or a multi day getaway while you’re in Kentucky visiting the Bourbon Trail.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Little Cedar Cabin. It was very clean and the view was incredibly beautiful. We so enjoyed sitting on the screened porch in the bed swing, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The house is well equipped and so comfortable. We appreciated that pets were allowed.
