Located within Katla Geopark and only 8km from Seljalandsfoss/ Gljúfrabúi waterfalls, the brand-new Seljalandsfoss cottage welcomes you in a peaceful environment with fantastic views in every directions. Close to the main highlights of the south coast and only 4km off the main road (road n°1). It is also a great location to see the northern lights, away from any light pollution. Thanks to it’s large windows, you can watch the northern lights while having dinner or from the warmth of your bed.

There is a beautiful view from the cabin towards the mountain range Fljótshlíð and the Tindfjallajökull glacier. The cabin is the perfect place to stay if you visit South Iceland. It is near many main attractions, such as waterfalls, glaciers, black beaches, and volcanoes. The cabin has space for four people, with one bedroom with a double bed and one bunk bed with two beds in the living space. The family has been running the farm for three generations, with horses, cows and sheep. The apartment consists of a living room, two bedrooms, bathroom and a small kitchen.
