Big Canadian log house sited high on a hill with gardens adjacent to spacious deck with undercover five seater spa. Large living area downstairs. Complimentary continental breakfast with home made crumpets and raspberry jam. Breakfast room with access onto deck with awesome view of Mt Ruapehu. Upstairs lounge equipped with childs' toys, books and activities.. Well equipped kitchen with walk in pantry. Up to two well behaved dogs are allowed downstairs, dog sitting available. Pod 2 (Quad) - Flat Hills Cafe & Tourist Park

Escape to the heart of Rangitīkei at Flat Hills Tourist Park. Set on 17 acres of countryside, our cosy pods offer a rural retreat with comfortable beds, TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, plus access to shared amenities, kitchen, lounge, BBQ area and hot showers. Meet friendly farm animals, explore the maze, enjoy the playground and café, or simply relax and take in the views. Conveniently located on SH1 between Wellington and Taupō. Please note currently the cafe is closed on Tuesdays.

Cabin on the Lane

Cereal Breakfast provided. Escape to a cosy, character-filled cabin that was once our family’s home while we built our house. Crafted almost entirely from recycled materials, fittings, & furniture. It’s a cute and comfortable up-cycled retreat. It may be a little older, but its quirky details and warm atmosphere make it the perfect spot to unwind, reconnect, & enjoy a stay with real personality. Kitchenette has jug, toaster, microwave and a bbq outside but no kitchen sink. WiFi is available.

The Tiny Escape

Unwind from the demands of daily life & reconnect with nature! Surrounded by natives & nestled upon the hillside with expansive views overlooking our farm & the Valley below, this is a space to sit back & enjoy. Our Tiny House is off grid. It has double glazing, a mini fireplace, toilet with vanity in add-on bathroom off the deck, large porch area for dining and 2 outdoor baths for soaking in the views. Dogs allowed but outside only, a kennel is available Welcome to your Tiny Escape!

Luca’s Chalet

Perfect hideaway for a relaxing weekend away, a family bike or ski-trip or to explore the Tongariro National Park. This is Lord of The Rings land so come ready for adventure! The A frame is our family Bach and is fully equipped for your relaxing stay. Read a book from the little library in the hammock on the front deck or soak your ski legs in the bath on the back deck. We are a short walk to the National Park, and to The Junction where you will find the famous Powderkeg restaurant.
