The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

Back in the day Glaðheimar was an Old post office and just across the rode was the main store for farmers and people in the area which has now a Handcraft marked. The house is a family summerhouse, but was originally built by our grandfather and grandmother, who lived there for most of their lives.
