The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

This place is where I'd come for 5 minutes peace from the world, now I'd like to share it with you. Relax in your private quaint lakeside hut, and wake to natures glorious morning call and stunning view of Corwen and Dee valley and giant Berwyn mountains. Try wild water swimming, fly fishing, or kayaking, in the deep spring water lake. You and pets will be welcomed by somene in wellies with a strong Welsh accent and smile. The Shepherd Hut at The Old Police House

A traditional bespoke Shepherd Hut in a semi rural location. The hut is positioned a few steps from the Llangollen canal and a three min walk from the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.Offas Dyke runs along the towpath .There are two excellent pubs a few minutes walk, post office ,pizza takeaway and cafe. The Hut is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is direct access to the tow path on which you can walk for miles. I currently have a minimum 2 nights stay but may allow 1 night stay please ask

By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Rural Escape Dome with Hot Tub in Whixall

Geodesic Dome with wood-fired hot tub in the heart of Shropshire countryside. Situated in a 3 acre paddock on our family small holding. Getting around we would suggest you have a car or bike as there is no public transport or cabs. Please note we are a working farm so you will see and hear tractors during your stay. Our family are also keen equestrians so you will also see horses. There is also a Glamping Cabin in the field so you may see other guests during your stay.

Celyn Pod - sleeps 2

With stunning views of Llyn Celyn, this glamping pod comes with everything you need for a relaxing or adventurous break. Located in Eryri National Park there are endless trails that can be explored or if it’s a relaxing break you need, drink in the views from the hot tub in this peaceful area of North Wales. It’s also newly built for end of 2023. There are 2 pods on site which are almost identical so if this one isn’t available on your date, check Derfel Pod

Wander around some 10 acres of fields and woodland or walk along the river's edge. All private and exclusive. Remember to bring your walking boots or wellies.
