Horsebox & Sauna River Beach Glendalough Ireland

An Capall (meaning Horse in Irish language) is a beautifully converted Horse Lorry currently out to grass overlooking a meandering river, nestled near Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains. Our Wooden Bedford Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted to house a King Size bed upper deck (via ladder) plus a single lower bunk. Guests have private access to our river beach, firepit & BBQ. In addition you can book a Sauna & River Plunge experience in our converted horse box (at an extra charge).

Peaceful cabin retreat on animal sanctuary

The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan/vegetarian sanctuary on a hill, nestled in its own small wild nature garden and developing food forest of fruit, nuts and wild edibles. We have developed our whole site into a track system or otherwise known as Paradise paddock. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands and surrounding counties.

Located on a naturally wooded hillside with extensive views of the mountains, we provide a close-to-nature experience. Wild deer and birds are seen regularly. Our premium, adult only (18+) glamping facility is located in the heart of the Wicklow mountains, only 200 metres from the Wicklow Way. We are just 50 minutes from Dublin, and accessible by bus. This cosy cottage offers a private comfortable stay at our family home, There is a double bed and a sofa bed that is extremely comfortable. Baby cot bed available also. The wifi is great and everything you need for a pleasant stay. We are 40meters from the bus routes and close to shops, The bus takes about 20 mins to our wonderful city or 5 mins to Liffey Valley sc. The public transport is very reliable. Best way from the airport is via rental car or the airport hopper bus.
