On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Welcome to our piece of paradise in the pines! Recently renovated rustic chic cabin featuring all new furnishings, organic linens, raised wood beam ceilings & numerous windows! A true nature lovers dream, find yourself relaxing on the expansive deck while enjoying stunning mountain sunsets! Cozy up to the warm fire pit while delighting in bird watching during the day & stargazing at night. The spiral staircase leads to our favorite feature, the loft bedroom with picture windows & treetop views!

Enjoy the charm of its mid-century architecture and vintage-inspired furnishings. Features include floor-to-ceiling windows, an open-concept layout, a recreation room, and wheelchair accessibility. Conveniently located 3-minutes from the village, it is easy to enjoy the charms of Idyllwild and the beautiful San Jacinto mountains from the Treetop Terrace.

Welcome to Wander Wild. A modern meets rustic mountain escape nestled in the trees on a private road. Ideal for small families, couples and friends looking for a peaceful getaway. Rustic charm, with many modern updates including a renovated kitchen, new furnishings, EV charger and high speed WiFi (if you can't unplug). The built-in cedar hot tub on the deck is a perfect spot for stargazing. Great location, only a 5 minute drive to town, a quick walk to hiking trails. Find your new happy place.

Relax and enjoy nature at our beautiful, tranquil, lovingly remodeled A-frame cabin, now with a brand new master suite and sunroom! Within walking distance from the center of town, it's perfectly situated on a quiet street amongst the trees, buzzing with blue jays and hummingbirds. Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or have a spa-like soak after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

The Far Out - A Frame cabin in the woods

The Far Out is a classic A-frame cabin nestled in the beautiful woods of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains. This mountain retreat sits on an acre of land, complete with a 1200 sq ft wooden deck and semi-sunken hot tub. The interior décor is impeccably curated, blending vintage character with modern design for a distinctly cool cabin vibe. Set far back from the road, the cabin and the grounds offer a magnificent private space for a relaxing getaway. Beauty abounds at The Far Out!

Spacious private-entry guest suite converted from the home’s master bedroom. Fully separate from the main house with keypad access, private attached bathroom, Wi-Fi, large TV, mini fridge, microwave, and seating area. Sleeps up to 3 with a king-size bed and optional full bed. Located in a historic 1895 home—updated but with a few quirks: toilet paper goes in the trash (older pipes). Quiet space, no parties. I live on-site, respect your privacy, and am always available if needed.

You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.
