Welcome to The Stable - a serene solo respite, artist’s retreat or unique getaway for 1 to 6 registered guests. Close to I-85 & I-40, Duke, NCCU and the downtown Durham scene. Quaint & artsy Hillsborough, funky & fun Chapel Hill/UNC and Carrboro are a short drive. Eno River State Park, hiking & biking trails, and the Mountains to Sea Trail are 2.5 miles away. Full of unexpected details, including an outside labyrinth, The Stable is a comfortable sanctuary for all who want to settle in and smile.

Historic Warrenton Small Cabin

Beautiful guest house, located steps from the main house, hidden from public. The cabin is tucked away in our manicure backyard. Spacious fenced in yard where your fur babies can run free. NO CATS. Enjoy large pergola with comfy seating for nighttime relaxation or dining. The house offers a living room, kitchenette (NO STOVE) and spacious bathroom. The second floor is a large LOFT with a dividing wall separating the two sleeping areas. There are 13 steps to the 2nd floor. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTY!

Escape from day-to-day life, with a feeling of being a million miles away, yet conveniently close to Chapel Hill & Pittsboro, 15 min S. of UNC & minutes from groceries & restaurants. Lux mattress & linens, dinghy, wifi, fire circle, fairy forest, spacious deck with pond view & a fire table, BBQ with lovely cafe lights awaits!

Mountain Cabin in Town

Located on top of a hill surrounded by 3 acres of wooded areas, our beautiful recently renovated A-Frame cabin is only a few minutes from downtown Wake Forest and 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh! The Mountain Cabin in Town is extremely private while still offering shopping, dining, and activities just a short ways away. There is a "Welcome book" on the table as you walk into the house with house rules, property information, and local activities. Also available online, see the house manual.

Beautiful new lake cabin, Sleeps 4 ONLY. Just a short walk through the woods, on Kerr Lake with private beach & wooden floating dock. Soak up the sun on your leisure time. Fish off the dock, go for a swim. Enjoy all of the amenities living on one of the most popular lakes in NC. Enjoy a book on the screened in porch or grill on your black stone. Outdoor shower. 30 amp camper hookup avail for an extra $40 per night. * the lake can be at high or low levels typically in the fall/winter

Originally the studio of a visual artist (long ago garden illustrator for The New York Times), this petite building is completely private. Firm queen bed. Mix of antiques and artisanal built-ins. Radiant heat. AC. Mini fridge and microwave, electric kettle, Chemex coffee maker and French Press, excellent wifi. Unique space in one of the best country neighborhoods around. 6.5 miles to Hillsborough healthy grocery store, 8 to Carrboro/Chapel Hill, 18 to Durham. Serene pond and grounds.
