Winchester is also accessible by foot ( 45 mins) or a short 5 minute train or bus away. London is an hour by train and other local attractions include Marwell Zoo, Peppa Pig World, South Coast, Portsmouth and New Forest.

Recently tastefully refurbished to a high standard, STRIDE Cottage is a much loved comfortable family home which maintains the character of the traditional New Forest cottage whilst offering spacious, modernised, comfortable living. A beautifully converted milking parlour with garden, far reaching views and bordering The New Forest National Park. Situated 9 miles from the Cathedral City of Salisbury and 15 miles from Southampton it is an ideal base to explore the local areas including many walks, pubs, restaurants, golf clubs and other tourist attractions such as Stonehenge, and Paultons Park. Can be rented in conjunction with neighbouring barn, newly refurbished and recently launched 'Strides Barn" (sleeps 6).

Once the village brewery, our beautiful centrally heated cottage is the perfect base to explore the New Forest and the Solent. If you fancy a day at home you can just laze in the garden. Like to cook? The kitchen has everything you'll need. And the cosy living room has a log stove for those chilly autumn evenings. It's just four miles to Romsey for a choice of supermarkets and shops. And we're on site to sort out any problems.
