One of two well equipped s/c apartments within our tranquil, enclosed garden. In the beautiful landscape of a Cretan hill village, colourful and quirky, the "Rabbit House" stone-built cottage, containing many original artworks, will enchant you.
Original artworks in the "Rabbit House" as well as mosaic works, flowers and herbs in the walled garden area, will all contribute to your enjoyment of the space. Upstairs there is a loft-style kingsize bed with linen and towels changed after 3/4 days - or on request. There are low beams in the bedroom area so you do have to take care. Downstairs the sofa can also be used as a small single bed (perhaps for a child), should this be required. A Wifi network - with a good connection is in your accommodation for personal use 24 hours a day. The kitchen is equipped with all that you will need to prepare your own food if you choose to do so.
Access to our beautiful courtyard is easy from the "Rabbit House" and guests will have use of outdoor tables and chairs to enjoy breakfast in the mornings - and a glass of local wine in the evening! Breakfast is provided here (at additional charge), on request. Guests in the "Rabbit House" have a very short walk (5 steps and a good time to check out the stars), to the toilet & shower room (sole use)- again this is beautifully restored with large shower, bidet, toilet and washbasin. There is also a washing machine here which can be used only by arrangement - as all programmes are in Greek!

We would advise that to make the best of your holiday a hire car will allow you to explore our beautiful island more easily - and more fully. If you prefer to walk - be aware that there are no shops in our village and that Armeni - where you can buy all that you need from local mini markets, is a lovely 2km walk away. (Downhill to get there and of course uphill on the way back - with shopping!). A car is by no means essential - but it will make your life here a bit easier...
We would expect our guests to enjoy themselves thoroughly whilst showing consideration to fellow guests and local neighbours. If you like to eat or drink in the courtyard that's great - If you smoke - that's also fine in the courtyard - but please refrain from doing so indoors.
We will be available to offer advice on the best places to visit: exploring archaeological sites, swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. We have a fine local taverna in the village and there are many others close by. Enjoying the local culture and all that it has to offer is a big part of your holiday that we can help to facilitate - offering information about local events, music evenings and festivals. We can also take orders if you wish to buy local produce: honey, eggs, olive oil, cheese, wine and raki- subject to seasonal availability.
