The Loft is a brand new space and has lots of amenities. From the full-size kitchen equipped with Bosch appliances and everything to make a gourmet meal to a FULLY stocked pantry, you'll feel right at home. Living area has a 50" smart TV quaintly furnished in southwest style with a gas fireplace. Bathroom has heated floors and a steam shower to soak your bones. Bedroom features a KING size bed complete with high quality luxury linens. Spacious deck has a Barbeque and outdoor seating. FABULOUS!
Centrally located to Santa Fe, Taos and Los Alamos, you can enjoy the best of the high desert here in Hernandez. Famous for the Ansel Adams' photo, "Moonlight Over Hernandez", Hernandez is the perfect place to start your local sightseeing trips and excursions.
Enjoy fishing, rafting, horseback riding, hiking, biking, and local cuisine just minutes in any direction.
Ojo Caliente, a famous Hot Spring Resort and Spa is just 15 miles. Many of my guests take advantage of the closeness. Also just 14 miles away is Abiquiu, home to artist legend, Georgia O'Keefe.
Enjoy hiking Plaza Blanca and Copper Canyon, two of her favorite places to paint. Just a little bit further is Abiquiu Lake, a popular place to fish, swim, and enjoy the scenic geology of the area.
One of my best features is the FULLY stocked pantry. Pasta, sauces, soups, grains, rice, spices, international seasonings, potatoes, pancake mixes, real maple syrup, granola, cereals, dried fruit, flour/baking goods, and lots of other upscale goodies await the gourmet cook. Just add fresh ingredients and you have a meal! Depending on the time of year, you may also get fresh eggs, fresh herbs, or something from the garden. The kitchen bay window has an assortment of fresh herbs growing in pots, (in season) just snip and use! In winter time, there may be only dried herbs.
The refrigerator is stocked with butter, milk, eggs, juice, and jam. Also, there is a selection of coffee and condiments.
The living area features a wine cooler and all guests receive a complimentary bottle of wine. There is even champagne on special occasions like New Years, your anniversary, or Valentines Day!
The 50" smart TV features Amazon Fire. You can also access Hulu, Netflix, or other features. Play movies, listen to music, or look at your vacation pictures on the screen. WiFi is available and you have access at any time.
The local Wifi is provided by Windstream Communications. Cell phone reception can be spotty. Best service in this area is by Verizon.
The bedroom features a king-size bed with luxury linens, full dresser, ceiling fan, and a bay window with pad/pillows for snuggling up with a good book.
The spacious walk-in closet has hangers, a clothes steamer for on-the-go touch ups, an iron, a suitcase caddy, lint roller, and robes for the shower.
Bathroom is fully stocked with an assortment of bar soaps, bath gels, shampoo, conditioner, and aromatherapy oils for the STEAM SHOWER.
Floor is heated.
There are no community walls in the Loft. You don't have to worry about someone noisy above, below, or next to you. It is a free-standing unit overlooking my backyard. Enjoy watching the horses and the sunrise in the morning.
In the evening, enjoy the night sky from the deck just off the living room. A table and chairs with a tabletop fire feature will give you a warm glow. The night sky is incredible. We have clear, crisp air with no pollution whatsoever.
I have maps and brochures to help you plan your stay. If you have riding experience, I can take you out from here on the horses for an extra charge.
I'm here for your every need. You just have to ask. As a resident of 26+ years, I know a lot of the "secret spots" that can make your stay extra special.
There are lots of great restaurants both in Espanola and Santa Fe. I can recommend an upscale epicurean delight or a mom and pop type place. I want to make your stay memorable, so please tell me what I can do to make it so!
Just installed is a digital keyless entry. No keys to fumble for, just put in the code.
Every room is for your enjoyment. The carport is shared. Anything you need
like extra toiletries or replace a lost toothbrush is only a call away. Please park in the carport and not in the driveway. The gate is secured with a code in the event that I'm gone.
I'm working on an outdoor space that features a pergola, outdoor seating, and lighting. While it is a work in progress, I hope to have it available for your use in the summer of 2018.

where the best galleries are, best restaurants, or sightseeing opportunities are? Just ask!

I am a New Mexico resident for 26 years as of January. I moved here from California looking to start a new life and found this place amazing. I have 7 horses and love to ride. I used to have a guided riding business but found that didn't pay the bills regularly, so I am currently and have returned to dog grooming from my home. Northern New Mexico is a special place and love to explore as much as I can. My interests include amateur geology and rockhounding, volunteering with Back Country Horsemen of New Mexico, cooking and light welding. I love getting to know about my guests and what they're interests are. I hope I can help make your stay a memorable one!
