The Corry, located at the top of a smart residential cul de sac overlooks the sea in one direction and the mountains in the other.
Avoch is a small fishing village situated on the Black Isle, a scenic peninsular just north of Inverness, the capital of the Highlands.
The Corry is ideal for one or two people on holiday wishing to explore the Black Isle and The Highlands.
Guests have a bedroom with king-sized bed, a large private bathroom and evening use of a sitting room with a log-burner.
The Corry has fabulous panoramic views to the mountains of Torridon in one direction and the Moray Firth in the other, being situated on a hill overlooking the fishing village of Avoch. There are pleasant lanes from the property for morning or evening strolls. We have kayaks and bicycles that can be used for exploring the local area, free of charge. We are on the edge of the Rosehaugh estate which offers fabulous tree-clad walks or cycling on off-road tracks. There is also the 'Learnie Red Rock' mountain biking centre only 6 miles away.
In addition to a modern, comfortable bedroom with a king sized bed, guests will have a private bathroom with corner bath and separate power shower. You will have a private living room for evening use with a log-burning stove and music if you wish !
Breakfast will be in the family kitchen and dining room and will be a self-service selection of tea/coffee/toast/cereal/fruit juice.

Hi. We moved to the Highlands 6 years ago and remain ever in awe of the beautiful scenery surrounding us here. It is a privilege to live and work in this stunning location and we would love to welcome you to our friendly home on the hill with its spectacular sea and mountain views.
I teach part time and am an English language specialist. My husband, a chartered medical engineer, travels globally. Our three children are away studying at university, leaving us to walk their dogs, a lovely black Labrador and playful springer spaniel! Both are comfortably housed outside in our large garden and love meeting new people.
We enjoy walking, cycling, sailing, kayaking and evenings at the theatre. We both speak French and German and have lived in France and Germany where two of our children were born.
We enjoy music and literature and have a selection of instruments, including piano, brass, woodwind and guitars should you be able to play.
