Lucerne is a stunning town, 40mins by train from Zurich and situated on a wonderful lake, surrounded by the beautiful central Swiss Alps. It is the perfect base for hiking, biking, running, sailing and skiing in the winter months (50 mins to the resort of Engelberg, Klewenalp, Emmetten and more).
We live in a light and spacious apartment overlooking Lucerne's famous lake, just ten minutes walk to the station and two minutes walk to the old city. We have a quiet private double bedroom available to rent (at the other end of the apartment to our room) and you are welcome to use the balcony overlooking the lake and the bathroom.
Fresh bed-linen and towels are included.
The apartment is in a quiet area, and very close to the major attractions of Lucerne (the Transport Museum, the Natural Museum, the city old walls, the Glacial Garden and the old city with its historical buildings, shops, restaurants and coffee houses). Everything is in easy walking distance.
