Airbnb took care of the experience thankfully! Always take pictures when your arrive- and do not assume issue will be resolved. Middle of July, high heat humidity. We arrived @ April's in a hurry to check in so we could get back to the city for an event. Property manager was not @ residence as advised, 5 min wait no big deal. We did not inspect bed conditions, temperature in the house was 82. Property manager said they just turned on a/c, thus we assumed temp would be cooler when we returned many hours after event. Unfortunately, @ midnight temp was still 82 inside. 2nd bedroom had a stained pillow as only option, suitcases and personal clothing scattered around. Large dog lives in house (not there when we stayed) though you could smell and see where the dog lays and plays etc.
couch is old and torn, leather falling apart, pet odor. Refrigerator had multiple fast food bags, rather unwelcoming. Multiple fans, of which none worked. Felt like someone was playing a bad joke on us. could not sleep due to sweat & heat, left in middle of night drive back home. 1st bad air bnb experience - provided April opportunity to correct, she did not, and attempted to obtain more $$- Airbnb settled and made it right. Save yourself the headache & heat- book a different property
