We are always accessible via phone and email throughout your stay, though the house is all yours so we won't be in your way.
Check in is at 3:00 pm, but if you have any special circumstances that may require an earlier arrival, just let me know. If the house isn’t being cleaned that day we’re usually pretty happy to be flexible!
At the house there’s room for three cars in front of the house (which is totally flat). We also have a driveway which will can fit up to four cars at the bottom of the hill. That said, the driveway is extremely steep, and made of dirt, so we recommend that cars without 4-wheel/All wheel drive should NOT park here. If there is any rain/snow during your stay, it can make it harder to get up the steep hill, and nearly impossible if you don't have 4 wheel drive. For large groups, we encourage carpooling to prevent any issues with parking.
The house is stocked with a lot of basic supplies you’ll need during your stay, including:
•Sheets & Pillows
•Fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, knives, silverware, plates, etc.)
•Some bonus kitchen items (salt, pepper, some basic spices, olive oil, etc.)
Some things you’ll want to bring for yourself:
•Toiletries (including shampoo, conditioner & soap)
•Paper Towels & Toilet Paper (we will usually have some to start with, but it can depend on how many back-to-back reservations we have at the house, so better safe than sorry :)
•Food & Drink
Check out is at 12:00 pm. In the binder on the counter you will find a page with a check-out checklist, so please make sure to check this before leaving. If check-out is not completed appropriately, any necessary costs will be deducted from your security deposit.
I think that's all, but if we've forgotten anything or you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know!
A dog loving videographer based out of Durham, NC but a New Englander at heart. Born and raised up north, I moved to North Carolina right out of college and fell in love. The mountains immediately won me over because they smell like Maine, but I occasionally enjoy making trips to the other side of the state as well. We love hosting guests at our home in the Bull City, and at our mountain house in the cabins. There's something great about getting to share the magic of both places with those visiting :)
