The response time of the owner was 47 minutes from receiving the message that the guests had locked the front door and weren't able to use this exit although the back door and a gate through the garden was able to be used to exit the property. Pets and bikes are welcomed in the cottage hence the carpets looking slightly tatty which is explained in the information sheet in the cottage. The flooring is due to be renovated in the autumn so this is being addressed, the bedroom has been decorated in the last week, heaters recently replaced and electrics all checked and passed in the last 2 weeks, there is an ongoing program of refurbishment to the entire cottage over the next few months, unfortunately due to a leak in the bathroom ceiling this had to address first. We always strive to give our guests the best possible level of information and communication, but the cottage is rural as it is in a village with close proximity to a large forest so a certain level of rural-ness should be expected. Wifi is being installed in the next week so once it is up and running we will amend the listing to reflect this change, 4G is patchy indoors as the cottage has thick stone walls so best signal can be found at the front of the house near the windows.
