Orwell village is set conveniently off of the Cambridge Road, 6 miles south of Cambridge city centre. The village has a pub, a village shop and offers a varieties of walks. It is close to Wimpole Estate. Public transport is not good so advisable to have a car. The guest house is completely independent and sits in our garden. Breakfast essentials will be provided in the fully-fitted kitchen of the guest house. We have a cat and a dog in the main house and therefore other pets are not allowed.
The guest house is set in the peaceful and quite gardens of the main house. A guest described going through the wicket gate as opening the door to a hidden world, like Narnia. You will hear the owl at night time and birds singing in the morning.
Guests will have access to the private parking just outside and the whole house, which comprises of a big and modern shower room, a fully equipped kitchen (with oven, microwave and washing machine) and a very spacious upstairs open space loft with a part comprising a dining table and day/sofa bed and another part with a king size bed, sofa, wardrobe, tv.
- No shoes upstairs.
- Parking only in the provided space by the Willow Barn house.
- Be considerate with the level of noise during the hours of darkness.
- Please comply with recycling/rubbish/food disposal rules that you will find in the kitchen.
- When 2 guests are staying but they need to use the sofa bed an extra £10 fee will be charged. This fee will not go through the airbnb automatic payment and it will be the guest responsibility to pay that fee directly to the host.
