Interaksi dengan tamu
We are more than happy to have a chat with you (guys), however we are busy working professionals and may not always be around. When we are though (especially weekends), we should be more than happy to drive you to the closest amenities or the likes, provided we are not busy.
Otherwise you are free to be as private as you like, there will be no forced conversations if you do not prefer to have one.
There are also no (planned) shared meals, you are free to eat whenever.
Hal lain yang perlu diperhatikan
Free street parking is available in front of our property. It is barely ever full, so there is no worries of having to park far away. As it is available 24/7, you do not have to worry about adhering to particular times anyways. We recommend that you drive around Sydney, it's just easier.
Although you can cook if you so like, it's easier to eat out around here, or get takeaway - we ourselves don't cook very often. If you do want to cook, just remember to clean up after yourselves.
Although there is air conditioning, it is centrally controlled and available in the main house (which you can use, but please be reasonable). Heating/cooling in your room is provided via either a heater or air conditioning cooler (those water/ice fans), the central air conditioning does not reach the basement room (your room).
Aside from the two of us (I am a PhD student at the University of New South Wales, and my wife is a financial consultant at Deloitte), there maybe other guests that share common areas as we have 2 more Airbnb rooms in our place.
- - No shoes in the house - Conserve electricity and water usage - No access to our personal belongings (unless with permission) - Keep quiet in the later hours - No bringing undisclosed guests - Keep common areas clean - Place things back where they belong - Wash up dishes and other eating utensils once done - Lock the door if you are the last to leave - Be able to converse basically in English.
We like to fancy ourselves as a dynamic duo!
I am mainly a researcher at UNSW, but also engage in academic teaching both at UNSW and Macquarie University and manage a number of websites in my free time. I love volleyball, boardgames, watching movies and TV shows, keeping fish, and especially Dungeon and Dragons!
My wife works in the financial sector at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, though with an avid eye for fashion and loves all things artful! She is a passionate painter, interior designer, and can probably name more fashion brands than anyone.
