I could go on and on about how wonderful of a stay we had at Stephanie's, so I think I'll do just that.
COMMUNICATION: A+ - super duper fast responses to any questions that I had.
CHECK-IN: A+ - Tiffany met us when we arrived. Our time table was kind of up in the air as we hit up a brewery (maybe two..??) on our way to Appleton but they were so kind to let us leave our estimated arrival up in the air. We never did meet Stephanie in person but if she's even 1/2 the host Tiffany is, everyone staying here is in good company.
NEIGHBORHOOD: A Really really nice neighborhood. The only knock is that it's a tad bit of a drive away from downtown, but we knew that going in. I usually wake up earlier than my wife and like to get some exercise in. I did just that (though I forgot my running garb so I went jogging in cargo shorts). There's a really nice bike path a 1/2 mile from their house and let me tell you - I'm positive the people in Appleton are the friendliest in the world. I had at least a dozen strangers say "Hi" to me despite me doing my best to avoid eye contact because of said cargo shorts.
ROOM: A+ We didn't spend much time there, basically just to sleep, but that bed was oh so comfortable. Great sheets/comforter. I swear, once I fell asleep I didn't wake up until daylight.
HOUSE: A+ Really nicely decorated. If they lived closer to us I'd hire them to redecorate ours. I love love love seeing pictures, and they had a LOT of family photos. The love that flows through that house is obvious as soon as you walk in the door.
HOSPITALITY: A+ Most of my AirBnB stays offer a Keurig, but they had a nice note and some fresh zucchini bread for us (maybe I shouldn't say that - cause I'm not sure if they offer that up to everyone or just their favorite guests ;) ).
VALUE: A++ Honestly, this listing was less than what they could charge, but I'm okay letting them know that. Our other option was $110. They were super awesome hosts and we were really really lucky as I'm pretty sure I was one of the first AirBnB members to look at their listing once it went live (according to Tiffany they just started this a couple weeks ago and we were their 3rd guest). We checked out a couple other options in the Appleton area and were getting worried we'd have to stay at an overpriced hotel or a shady AirBnB.
OVERALL: Tiffany and Stephanie - AWESOME FANTASTIC hosts. I highly recommend them to any future AirBnBers. Next time Goo Goo Dolls are in Appleton I'll be hitting them up. One of my favorite AB&B experiences in history. Thanks again ladies.
