Hi friends! This place is located in the center of Chinatown. It is a small and cozy apartment. We try to make guests feel at home!
Our location is very convenient, 5-10 minutes away from Convention Center, Reading Terminal Market, metro stations, City Hall, Old City (6 blocks away), and easily accessible to West Philly.
People from all backgrounds are welcome! We will not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia and islamophobia.
Our space is very unique because it is a cozy apartment shared by both my roommate and me who love to make new friends and try our best to make our guests to feel comfortable during the stay!
Microwave, cooking utensils + pots/pans, fridge, common room and bathroom

Parking is limited on the streets. However, if parking is absolutely necessary, there is a parking lot directly across from our apartment complex.
To maintain household cleanliness, we do prefer guests to remove shoes at the door. As alternative, we will have house slippers provided for you :)
My roommate and I are available most evenings to help you figure out your travel itinerary and tell you a lot of interesting things about Philly (since we are both native here!)
My name is Kiki. I am originally from Hong Kong, but I have moved to Philadelphia ever since 2004 (+13 years living here!) I am very proud of spending majority of my life in Philadelphia. There are a lot of gems to discover in Philly, and I am still amazed by the richness of the arts and culture here!
I am currently a medical student at Cooper Medical School, right across the Delaware river in New Jersey! I can't promise I can give you an accurate diagnosis if in case you need some medical assistance, but I swear I won't bore you with medical talk!
When I am not too absorbed in studying, I love to read, hang out in parks/museums, dance salsa/bachata, learn a new language, and if budget allows, explore in a new city or country! I previously lived in Hong Kong, China, Panama and France (via study abroad/volunteer/work), and traveled to various countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Fun fact: I speak every language with an accent (even my mother tongue Cantonese), because I never really refined any language to a certain extent that I could sound like a native speaker. If you come from any country that speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish or French, please don't mind me if I get too excited to practice my half-assed accented language with you.
I currently live with a friend of mixed Palestinian and Native American descent. We both enjoy interacting with people traveling from different cities and countries! Even though I seem like a new host on airbnb, my last roommate actually hosted our place on airbnb under her name. When guests arrive, we have information pamphlets on Philadelphia and toiletries ready for the guest. I also gave a lot of recommendations in the past where to go and what to do. Occasionally when I was not too busy, I also went out to breakfast, dinner, do graffiti art, get draft beer and visit an art museum with my guests. Since I traveled to various countries before, I also learned to appreciate meeting the locals and learning about the local culture. Therefore, feel free to ask me any questions prior to/during your trip!
