Just a 2 minute walk from Croix de Chavaux Station on Paris' Metro Line 9. Montreuil, on Paris' East-side, is often referred to as Paris' "21st arrondissement", or "Paris Brooklyn". Just 10 minutes from Nation by direct metro, you can easily get to where you want and need to go. This studio is my home, and it will be a pleasure to have you enjoy it when I'm not there. As a writer, teacher, gardener and Real Food advocate, I often travel. Strictly non-smoking.
A cosy and calm nest in the midst of the urban grind.
I use a couple of the storage spaces exclusively for my own clothes and personal items. Thank you for respecting those. There is also space for you to put your own things.

I look forward to welcoming you and ensuring that you are happily settled in to the studio. For any questions before your trip, don't hesitate and I will do my best to help you. During your stay, I'm available on the telephone if there is anything you need. And who knows, if we both have time, why not a cup of tea or a coffee together.

Ideal for quiet, calm, responsible people.
A non-smoking apartment. Including poking your head out the window, or smoking on the stairs or in the closed courtyard (the neighbours don't like strangers smoking in the courtyard in front of their windows, which I totally understand - other than that we all live pretty happily together in the copropriété). I guess you've heard of street-level parking. Well, this place is street-level smoking only :-) If you agree, all will go well. If this will be a problem then this will not be the right place to stay for you.
There is a cat in the courtyard, but not in the studio. If you are seriously allergic it might not be the best place to stay for you.
Quiet, clean, responsible guests are most welcome.
It's a pleasure to have you enjoy my home whilst I'm travelling. As a Writer, Teacher, Gardener and Real Food Advocate, I'm often away. It's great to have my cosy nest to come back to and I hope that you'll enjoy staying there as much as I do. I'll be there for your arrival and to ensure that you are happily checked in to the studio, and afterwards I can be reached by telephone and email for any questions you may have. NOTE: I have two listings for the same apartment. One listing is for exclusive, totally private use of the studio when I'm away, and the other is for a share listing when I stay some nights (although you'll often have the studio to yourself).
Personally, I love to read, write, spend quiet time at home, eat simply and well, and grow a bit of food wherever I can. My idea of luxury is simple yet comfortable and well-organised surroundings, time, health, and always being able to learn something new. Subjects that interest me in particular are what we could consider our "basic needs". The things that are often, surprisingly, disregarded in this age of tech and convenience: air, water, food, shelter, clothing, relationships, culture/transmission/education. How can we humans creatively develop our future in order to live harmoniously on the earth, whilst benefiting from the fantastic offering that technology and science provides us?
My suitcase is ever-ready, and as a traveller myself, I am sensitive to what you might need to have a great stay. If there's something special that you might need, don't hesitate to ask.
