Come stay in a little conservation project which includes an organic market garden! Beautiful views, a new wood to explore and lots to see and do in the local area such as walking in the outstanding natural beauty of the Mendip Hills.
There is all you need for a self contained stay. Pick veg for your meals from the garden!
Glastonbury, Castle Cary, Bruton, Shepton Mallet, Wells and Frome all nearby!
We don't rent out in the colder months as we are still working on insulating the space.
This is a secluded spot with no access to any public transport, you will need transport to get to places including shops. We are close to the busy A37 and can hear vehicles, mainly during rush hour, but this place still has a lovely peaceful feel about it. I have lived here for 3 years and don't find it an issue, but others might, so here is your due warning if you are put off by the sound of vehicles on roads. Also we have 3 cats that live here who would appreciate some love and a feed so cat lovers very welcome.
You will have full use of the space to yourself - living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. Then feel free to use the outside space, the greenhouse, the polytunnel... This home will accommodate 1 couple very comfortably but there is a fold out double bed in the living room if you want to come as a group. One of the perks of staying here is you can forage veg from the garden for your meals. We have a screen for watching things on so if you have netflix you can plug your computer into the screen for your viewing pleasure.

We will not be here whilst you stay in the dwelling. There is a large stone house on site, where the land owners live, you might see them or the two kids about, they are lovely but will not be overly present.
I grow vegetables for a living so that is where you will find me most of the time, in my market garden. One of the things I do when I'm away from the garden is continue with my herbal medicine training. I need to stay away from home on these occasions.
I love walking long distances and seeing natural places in the UK. So if I'm booking a place with you - I will likely be going on a walk with my partner, Liam and wanting to find a cosy pub to have dinner or lunch in.
