Welcome to our humble ‘Industrial' abode!
Perfectly situated n the corner of 4 inner Melbourne suburbs (Collingwood, Abbotsford, Richmond & East Melbourne). With the CBD just 3km away (either a short tram trip, train ride, bike ride or lovely 20 minute walk), this is the best place to experience Melbourne.
Whilst we are located right in the heart of inner Melbourne, the apartment itself is extremely quiet and private. You have your own outdoor terrace that sits within a large central atrium and the apartment building has a secure entry with lift. An underground car park is also available for your convenience.
The apartment is large for a 1 bedroom (60 square metres + 30 square metre terrace) and is flooded with natural light. It has just been freshly painted throughout & the cement floors polished. We have also installed brand new designer appliances (Smeg oven, new dishwasher, new fridge) & have renovated the apartment ourselves to reflect a typically Melbourne ‘industrial' aesthetic.
The apartment consists of a full kitchen, separate bedroom (Queen bed with King doona), open plan living and dining, central bathroom (double shower) and a built in laundry. Floor plan attached.
Fresh linen & towels are provided and basic essentials you need to prepare your own meals. There is also heating / cooling in both the bedroom and central living area & Wifi throughout (of course!).
Within 500 metres you have: 2 super markets (Woolworths & Aldi), bakeries, multiple cafes for coffee, 2 bars / pubs, endless Vietnamese / Thai / Korean / Chinese restaurants, a butcher, a big park, tram stop, train station, 7 eleven, 2 bottle shops, hair dresser / nail bar, 3 banks, a chemist and so on....
My apartment is surprisingly large for inner city apartments & with the combination of the outdoor courtyard to feel the sunshine on your face in the mornings, I think it's a great place to be. It's unbelievably quiet, in a residential building but has immediate access to cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, bush, public transport right at your door. We've designed the interior ourselves with careful consideration to the creature comforts that make all the difference to your stay.
My locals tips on my favourite spots in the area. One of things I love about airbnb is that it gives you the opportunity to experience a city as a local. In amongst the best neighbourhood (Collingwood / Fitzroy), you've got access to the best that Melbourne has to offer & when I'm traveling abroad, I really value the hosts recommendations on where to go, so I hope you do too!
I also leave myki cards for guests to use for the Melbourne public transport system which saves guests having to fork out $7 just to obtain a card so all you need to do is top up the ones I leave for you. Too easy! :-)
The apartment will be entirely yours during your stay and I'm easily accessible via Airbnb should have any questions during your stay.

I'm available by email, phone or text for as often or as little as you need. I live just around the corner so can be at the apartment in a jiffy if needed. I'm happy to answer any questions before, during or after your stay to make your stay at my apartment more comfortable.
Smokers are welcome just keep it to the outdoors only please.
Guests are welcome to bring an infant (0-2) however are kindly asked to clean up after them and will need to supply their own bed & bedding.
Love traveling & meeting travelers!
From my Hosting perspective;
In 2013 I traveled Europe for 6 months mostly through airbnb so I've been on the 'guest' end and now enjoy being on the 'host' end. So I know from experience what makes a great airbnb stay and what makes a not so great airbnb stay.
So I would like to think that I can provide a (very) clean, welcoming, stylish, enjoyable stay & share the apartment we love so much, with other travelers. We designed the interiors ourselves and like to share it with others who may appreciate our design aesthetic.
Aside from being an official Airbnb 'super host', from a more personal level I love visitors coming to experience Melbourne from a 'locals' point of view. I was born & raised in Melbourne & love sharing my favourite spots around the neighbourhood with guests who wouldn't ordinary discover these on their own.
Some of my favourite things to do around Melbourne is to discover little hidden gems; whether it's bars, restaurants, pubs, open air cinemas, shops - so as soon as I find new ones I include them in my 'locals tips' so hope you enjoy seeing Melbourne through the eyes of a local.
From my perspective as a guest;
I live and breath Airbnb and travel. If I'm not traveling through Airbnb at the time (which I do a lot!), I'm looking at the many wonderful and varied experiences available through Airbnb.
I have an insatiable desire to travel, experience new cultures, environments, landscapes and nature. I'm known amongst my friends as the best accommodation hunter and I tend to find some pretty amazing places all around the world. As a host, I think I have a different understanding of how to treat a property I rent so I always respect my host's home and tidy up after myself and leave the home just as I found it.
