Meg and Marilyn Hilly are avid skiers. The origional farmhouse was lost to a fire in 1959. and Marilyn was long listed for the 1960 Olympic team, so losing the house was quite a blow. Many friends helped convert the barn into a ski house after the fire, and it has been a work in progress wever since. Our family and friends have used this house as a year round vacation home for years. Meg and Marilyn both have taught skiing for years, at Mad River Glen, and Sugarbush. At age 84, Marilyn was the subject of a "Super Senior" segment on wcax news.
you can watch it here:
Meg is an avid Euestrian, and currently coaches a college team. Marilyn hasn't hung up the skiis yet. She's 88 and going strong!
