Watch the Ferries from the living room balcony as they enter and exit Colman Dock. Take in all that Downtown Seattle has to offer. We can assist with bus routes into many of the great neighborhoods surrounding your homebase.
We do not offer cable TV due to prohibitive costs. Instead, we have high speed internet - Amazon Fire TV's voice remote system for our new HDTVs. Netflix, Amazon, etc. included.
Have we mentioned this is a private suite arrangement and not the entire place? Shared common area of kitchen and living room. Your suite is completely private. But it is indeed shared space here when we are in town. Jamie and I are in-home hosts.
Full access to unit and gym, rooftop area. Washer/dryer available for reasonable use during daytime.

The toilet and shower in Master bedroom have issues that cannot be addressed without tearing out the entire room and starting over. The toilet is slow due to its design flaw and how it's set in bathroom. The shower has temperature lever that is constantly stripping due to guests pulling it instead of turning the knob below it. We are about to replace it for a 5th time, after Labor Day weekend September 2017. We no longer can keep up with guests yanking the apparatus. Apologies in advance.
We receive an incredible amount of requests for early entry and luggage dropoff as well as late checkout. This isn't something we can manage. Hotels are much better at this than us. Again, this is not possible. My kindest and sincerest advice is that you read this paragraph twice.

We just completed summer season 2017 here - our third year! We always seem to attract two sets of people each year who think downtown should be some kind of Disney setting for them. This is not that place.
Do not book here if you demand the same things W, 1000, Alexis, Four Seasons or Arctic Hotels offer. Yes these are my neighbors. Yes I am within blocks of stadiums. Yes I am 70% Lower in price. Yes I have three times the square footage of those wonderful rooms at those venues. No I do not care about your unreasonable expectations and I will tell you this if I receive any brittleness because you don’t get it. Trust me. All I am looking for is ....... Thank You Gene For Sharing Your Downtown Seattle Domicile, You Saved Me A Ton Of Money In Seattle.

If for ANY reason you talk my staff or I into returning keys to KeyCafe location on your behalf, there is a $25 fee for this. If I'm in town, I am happy to do it at no cost though, because...... I'm in town.
Shoes are an enemy to premium quality carpet.
Removal of large framed artwork on wall in Master suite is strictly prohibited. There will be a $35 fee if this rule is broken.
For Master bath - PLEASE do not manhandle or yank the shower level for heat control. We have now replaced lever for the 4th time in one year. I will charge $50 for another replacement.
Keys are to be returned to KeyCafe location at end of your experience here - especially when we are not in residence or in town. When here though, I am available to return keys for you - schedule permitting.
