I was very surprised by the review inaccuracy and would like to confirm that all bathtubs and sinks drained very well prior to the guest arrival.
The bathtub, upstairs, was found full of dirty water, maybe the guest didn’t know about the release lever, below the spout, that needs to be lifted up to quickly drain the tub!
The kitchen sink was also found partially clogged, after guest's departure, full of beach sand and was unclogged by the cleaning crew.
The decks planks were fine and no splintering, loose boards or loose railings were noticed except a couple boards by the entrance. These long boards have buckled, probably due to the extreme rain that took place prior to the guest arrival and were taken care of.
The dishes were left in the dishwasher, but they went through a cleaning cycle. The grill, on the other hand, is fully functional, the gas tank was however found missing! A spare full tank is available at the bottom of the stairs as indicated in the Welcome, Access and Usage Document that was probably never read.
Additional ample supply of detergent, soap, paper towel, toilet paper and trash bags was available in the pantry closet, as indicated in the Welcome, Access and Usage Document but....
The bench at the master bedroom was firm for many years prior to the guest arrival. I have personally build it and have had its legs reinforced with holding metal brackets, but some people have ways to damage solid furniture.
Additionally, a pet dog has been sneaked in by the guest into the beach house without the host approval that left us with the extra associated cleaning, just to avoid paying a $75 pet fee.
There is no need to rush in making false assertions in order to avoid damage claims being filed by the host and for being unhappy with the extra charge for the linen service and towel service.
