This studio apartment features an open plan living-kitchen/dining area, which connects to the large, west-facing, covered balcony catching the afternoon sun.

1. The high-quality finish of the property. The carefully selected furnishings and the high-end European appliances and fittings are an extension of the understated elegance of the building itself.

2. The location is simply outstanding. Wynyard Quarter is the most desirable and exciting part of Auckland city. It is on the waterfront and walking distance to the finest restaurants, bars and shopping that Auckland has to offer. Viaduct harbour, Commercial Bay, Britomart, all at your doorstep. Fancy a day out on the harbour? The ferry terminal is easy to access or if you yourself are a boatie, Westhaven Marina and Orams drydock can house your boat in your own backyard
There is a bus stop conveniently located nearby for the City Link and Route 75, that can quickly take you to Queen Street, Auckland Hospital and Newmarket.

3. The “30 Madden” apartment complex has been designed by the award-winning Studio Pacific Architecture. This brand new building has a Homestar seven rating for sustainability and energy efficiency, which places it amongst the highest rated residential blocks in the CBD. The building includes a series of inner sanctum elevated courtyard spaces that capture the afternoon sun for the use of all residents.

Here are 3 things to consider before renting our apartment:

1. The apartment building is a close-knit residential community, so no parties are permitted in the apartment at all times during your stay. This applies to all residents, so ensures you will have a peaceful and quiet stay yourself.

2. Wynyard Quarter is undergoing an designed revitalization with a number of buildings and shared public spaces under construction between 7am - 6pm Monday-Saturday. Our apartment is double glazed, on the 4th floor and faces into the 1000sqm private landscaped courtyard away from the street noise. You may still hear the hum of the city and we provide complimentary 3M E-A-R Classic ear plugs (Noise Reduction Rating of 29 dB)

3. Even though private and elevated, the apartment is located in a central city neighbourhood, so you will be surrounded by buildings and other residents. That’s not a downside, since the neighbours are generally a very considerate group of people, but you will be aware of their presence on occasion. Most people actually love it, since you will have a chance to meet locals and quickly strike up a conversation. Live like a local amongst locals and you will love your stay. Living in a close-knit community requires some basic rules to make things easier. We ask that you abide by these rules and that you are a considerate neighbour. By all means, live and enjoy yourself, just be mindful of noise and loud music both inside and out and you’ll have a fabulous time.

We have furnished this brand new apartment with new modern contemporary furniture.

KITCHEN

Our fully equipped kitchen includes brabantia and smeg, chef-quality stainless steel gourmet cookware, and good quality knives. The appliances are all Bosch. We've supplied a French Press, as well as a Nespresso machine and milk frother for coffee aficionados, and a teapot so you can brew the perfect cup of tea.

LOUNGE

Sit back and relax in style on the comfortable sofa while watching Netflix on the 4K 43”Smart TV. The wifi is connected to an unlimited high-speed internet connection.

BALCONY

The balcony is a spacious 12sqm, facing a north west corner. In addition to the abundance of sun and light throughout the afternoon into the evening, you will enjoy a views across Silo park and the Auckland harbour, including the resplendent harbour bridge and its lights at night.

BED

The bed comes with a luxurious anti allergenic Royal Dalton duvet high thread count sheets and plenty of ultraloft pillows, from hard to soft so you can find what is perfect for you .

The large closets have plenty of clothes hangers and ample hanging space plus plenty of shelves for storing your luggage out of sight. .

LAUNDRY

The laundry includes both a front-loading washing machine and a separate dryer, and we supply EcoStore washing powder.

GETTING AROUND

Our place is in the heart of Wynyard Quarter, Auckland’s most thoughtfully designed place for contemporary waterfront living. On your doorstep,iIt offers an abundance of vibrant public spaces, parks, restaurants and cafés. It is less than a 15 minutes walk or a $5-10 Uber ride to much of the central city, including Westhaven, Viaduct Harbour, Queen St, and Ponsonby.

Shared active transport such as electric bikes and scooters are a popular choice for Aucklanders, this is the perfect way to get around the waterfront. Wynyard Quarter offers Beam, Lime...

If you want to catch a bus, CityLink and Route 75 both go right past the apartment building.

There are multiple car share options on your doorstep including CityHop and Zilch electric car share hub.

PARKING

This apartment doesn’t come with a car park. For short term parking, there is plenty of street parking, and the Jellicoe car park nearby (first hour free). For longer-term parking, there is the Wynyard Carpark nearby next to Countdown on Pakenham St, which you can book online (Weekly and Monthly Parking options offer better value).

There are bicycle racks located in the car park.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Portacot (additional $5/day). We can provide Jolly Jumper Roma 2-in-1 portacots that have both bassinet and cot level. This model has passed safety tests and is recommended by Consumer NZ. We'll also provide cots sheets and blankets.

Wynyard Quarter is becoming one of New Zealand’s most exciting and diverse places. Bordered on three sides by the sparkling Waitemata Harbour, the 37 hectare area has been home to the hard-working marine and fishing industries for decades. Recently, alongside the ongoing marine activity, some exciting developments have taken place.

This once industrial and port area, closed off to public access for many years, is now being opened up. The first stage of the Wynyard Quarter revitalization centred around Jellicoe Street opened in 2011 - and Aucklanders haven’t looked back since. With a variety of restaurants, cafes and a healthy calendar of events, this area quickly established itself as a popular destination for both locals and visitors. Since then a wave of additional commercial development has taken off on the southern edge of the precinct, bordering Fanshawe Street.
