Chalet Feiler is a beautiful mountain retreat in Les Collons, part of the Verbier ski area. With uninterrupted views of the sunny Rhone valley and southern Swiss and French Alps, this spectacular chalet can be enjoyed at all times of the year.
It may be hard to leave the chalet with its hot tub overlooking the Matterhorn, sauna, Playstation, Wii, Ipod docks, TV, movies, fully equipped kitchen, sun loungers, and a number of ‘good reads’ – all surrounded by over 180 degrees of incredible mountain views. Yet if you can tear yourself away there are mountain spas, ski-ing, heli-boarding, paragliding, kayaking, canyoning, mountain biking and horse riding to name but a few (obviously some dependent on weather and season!).
Chalet Feiler is a self-catering chalet. There are catering options which are organised by the housekeeper (minimum of 5 days notice required). Please note we provide bed linen and towels.
Sleeping up to 10 adult guests plus we have 2 folding beds for children / or 2 cots, we welcome couples, families and friends. Our chalet is family-friendly, with cots, high chairs and a baby monitor. For young children, we have two travel cots, high chairs and a baby monitor. Local childcare can be arranged through the housekeeper (please let us know in advance).
From your bed, wake up to incredible views from floor to ceiling windows. Bedrooms have been stylishly decorated in a mountain style. Luxury mattresses with cotton bedsheets and fluffy goose feather duvets and pillows (anti-allergy bedding also available on request).
The entire middle floor of Chalet Feiler is dedicated to the sleeping quarters and comprises three bedrooms with kingsize beds (two bedrooms can also be set up as twin beds), and the bunk room with 4 beds, is perfect for children and adults alike. There are two foldaway child beds or travel cots which can be set up in the room with the sauna in it. This brings the sleeping capacity of the chalet up to 12 guests in total. Each bedroom has mountain views and either has an ensuite bath or shower room. Three of the rooms have access to a large outdoor terrace for further lounging.
The open plan living area upstairs is the focal point in Chalet Feiler and is where you will undoubtedly spend countless hours chatting in front of the fire and enjoying the incredible views. The feeling of space is created by the double height ceiling and panoramic windows leading onto the large south-east facing balcony with fantastic views out into the valley. The large living space is cleverly divided into areas for eating and relaxing with a games area and cinema snug area boasting a 38inch flat screen with surround sound.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, food processor, raclette and fondue sets.
Chalet Feiler is a self-catered chalet (although there is a catering option). There is a mini supermarket and croissanterie in the village as well as many larger supermarkets in Sion and Conthey.
Our housekeeper can buy groceries for you prior to your arrival. She also organises evening meals, cooked by a local chef (with the option of waiting staff). There are several menu options including some wonderful local specialities such as Raclette. There is also a breakfast option. These should be pre-ordered prior to arrival directly with our housekeeper and she requires at least 5 days notice.
The chalet is private for your sole use. The panoramic views of the mountains and valleys can be enjoyed from every room and large sun terraces. There is a pretty lawned and decked garden with sun loungers and a hot tub all surrounded by wild flower meadow.

A daily maid service is possible at 60 CHF per day (please arrange this with us prior to arrival and we need 5 days notice). For longer stays a mid stay bed linen and towel change is also possible (please enquire).
We leave some basic provisions (enough for the first few days) such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, toilet rolls, washing powder, bin bags, dishwasher tablets etc but you may need to top up.
Please note that our chalet is self-catering and not set up as a hotel. So you need to bring toiletries and buy provisions. We do leave toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, bin bags and washing up liquid (enough for the first day or so but after that you should purchase your own). We will also leave a supply of tea bags, sugar, a carton of UHT milk and salt and pepper. Our housekeeper can assist you during 9am-6pm on most days if you have any questions or issues. It is not a 24 hour service. If you would like catering or a daily clean, please let us know well in advance and not upon arrival so that we have time to organise it.
Cleaning - We often have a tight turnaround and ask that you respect our chalet and its garden. We allow 4 hours to clean the chalet. The cleaning cost includes cleaning, chalet preparation, bed linen and towel clean as well as gardening up keep. If we are billed for more than a 4 hour clean from our cleaning company, we will need to take any additional hours from your deposit (50CHF / hour).
Hot Tub - We kindly ask that you don't take drinks or food with you into the hot tub to ensure it is in tip top condition for you to use the next day and for future guests. If the hot tub is left with dirt, glass or bits in it, cloud, discolouration (whereby it needs a water change before our next guests) we will ask for an additional 75CHF.
I am a garden and landscape designer as well as a keen snowboarder in my spare time. We love to cook, spend time with friends and travel. We love modern design, art and boutique styling. We live in a eco contemporary barn in a pretty village in south Oxfordshire. We also built a design-led mountain retreat in Switzerland a few years ago for friends and family to enjoy both in the summer and winter. We have young children so our properties are family friendly.
