This historic home, with fenced yard and garden is a short walk to charming Boalsburg village, with lively restaurants and assorted shops. Upstairs is the master BR (King) and guest room (2 twins), as well as a dressing room attached to the MBR, that can fit a full size air mattress, and a sunny, comfortable corner office, a perfect spot to enjoy a quiet read. In the living room is a large, comfortable sectional sofa perfect for sleeping one adult or two children (or one of each!). We have a full-size air mattress that easily fits here. We have a dining room that seats eight, a large, sunny, fully-equipped kitchen, a cozy sitting room, and a covered side porch with a full size gas grill.
We are four miles from the Penn State campus, and only 2 miles from Hills Plaza South, with free parking and the CATA shuttle to Beaver Stadium on game days.
Visitors have access to the whole house, including fenced yard, except for one out-of-the-way storage room. We have plenty of parking: three cars in the rear, and two in front of the house.

I'm a Retired Professor of Art History at Penn Sate University, very well versed in the proper protocols of Airbnb, and generally a kind and responsible individual. My specialty is the art and culture of West Africa, so I am especially well travelled in that part of the world: especially Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana. I get along with all types; indeed I especially enjoy the opportunity to meet new people as I travel. NYC will always be my favorite destination, and in a perfect world (!) I'd own a pied-a-terre there. SFO and SEA are close seconds. My partner Mary is equally well travelled, and by profession she is a private chef, ready to prepare sumptuous meals for our guests, upon special arrangement. We are responsible people; we are proud of our house and we enjoy hosting different kinds of people.
