One night stays are accepted during the week but a 2 night minimum applies on Friday and Sat. An open plan cottage with a queen bed, king single and a single trundle. Behind is a bushy escarpment so a perfect base for walking, biking, exploring or to just relax +watch the colours change. We celebrate four seasons & the interior provides comfort no matter the weather! You'll see plenty of Aussie wildlife too. The lake bed is visible during the dry years and the lake will slowly reappear during wet years. The lake is currently the fullest it’s been in many years. Our generous garden flat is positioned within walking distance of Queanbeyan town centre, and a 20 minute drive to Canberra CBD. Directly adjacent to the showground our very private, spacious, uncluttered, clean flat has 2 private courtyards in which to follow sun /shade and cook a BBQ. You should find all that you require, but we are in the front house should you need anything. We delight in offering this fantastic space and look forward to seeing you.

The Stables @ Longsight

The original stables at historic Longsight have been lovingly restored and converted to luxury boutique accommodation. Many of the original features have been preserved such as the exposed wood rafters, weatherboards, iron roof and facade. Even the original saddle racks remain in the bathroom and old framing timber has been repurposed into a beautiful kitchen island. Perfect for couples or families looking for a relaxing country getaway.
