The Hut in the Wild

Come and stay in our beautifully finished, tin shepherds hut at the bottom of our garden. We are located in the rolling countryside with extensive views over the vale of York. After a day of exploring this AONB, there’s nothing like cooking tea over the fire pit or wood pellet pizza oven followed by a dip under the stars in our rustic hot tub. Fall into a fresh clean bed and wake up to the sound of the dawn chorus. Our bathroom barn provides all your needs for a morning freshen up!See you soon.

Serendipity

Serendipity is one of three hand crafted wooden Shepherds Cabins, located on a working farm in the heart of Dalby Forest. (Also please see Serenity and Dahlia Cabins on separate listings.) We're ideally situated just off the popular cycle routes and activity centres. The cozy en-suite cabin features a comfortable king size bed, mini fridge, heating, access to a gas BBQ and continental breakfast. This luxurious cabin offers wonderful panoramic views in a tranquil setting. The perfect escape!

Cabin Retreat, with dog paddock and outdoor bath

Relax & unwind as you enjoy the views over field & forest from the patio. Just open the door and let your dog have fun in the fully fenced paddock. Explore the footpaths that lead through undulating landscapes almost from the door. Take a scenic drive to Whitby, Scarborough & dine out at the numerous places to eat. Call at the village shop for supplies as you return to The Cabin. At the end of the day relax in the quirky candlelit outdoor bath whilst watching the stars in the Dark Sky Reserve.

The Hovingham - en-suite, king bed & great views

A modern design, offering little luxuries throughout. We have thought of your every need fora great escape for two!. If you’re looking for somewhere to spend time, relaxing with lovely views, or to explore the amazing attractions in North Yorkshire we’re in a great location to do both. We offer en suite bathroom, WiFi, Smart Tv. Microwave, electric grill, toaster and kettle. Heating and log burner let’s us offer breaks all year round. We can’t accommodate Children /infants Dogs /Pets

York Garden House

The York garden house stands under a oak tree in our garden, with private entrance. The garden, fire pit area (where you can toast marshmallows or use a disposable BBQ) and the glass roofed seating area/patio (to enjoy a takeaway from the village) are entirely yours to use. The garden room is also very private. It is a small, cosy & warm ( similar to glamping pod) There are electric radiators and its cosy on winter nights. It has two small single beds. Log burner is for aesthetics.

York Poetree House, tiny treehouse home for one

Reconnect and wake up into nature at this unforgettable escape. Secluded treehouse with everything you need to soothe and inspire. Self cater, arrange meals provided by your host (a professional chef), or try one of the many eateries in town. Shops nearby. Your own private bathroom is situated a few yards away in the main house. You also can enjoy our beautiful garden, lily pond and friendly cat, Nina. Your hosts are always on hand to ensure a comfortable and nourishing experience.

Old Forge in Wrelton, North Yorkshire.

This cottage, in the village of Wrelton near Pickering, was a 19th century blacksmith's forge and has now been renovated into a delightful living space complete with fully-equipped kitchen, large living room area, bathroom with walk-in shower and a cosy bedroom located on a mezzanine floor which is reached via a spiral staircase. The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.

Cherry Tub in the Orchard. Cozy Getaway

A handmade shepherds hut and set in a secluded orchard on a river bank. This is a wonderful little hideaway where you can just kick back, relax and watch nature while you get cozy by the fire. A truly wonderful escape to enjoy with your favourite person. Located in an orchard on a river bank surrounded by farmland and wildlife. Dogs are very welcome.
