Great room in a lovely house. Hosts showed me the local pub and made me feel welcome. Tea and coffee in the room and they even went to the trouble of getting in fresh milk in the fridge. Highly recommended.

Tim and Jill made me feel really welcome and couldn't have been more helpful. They quite literally went the extra mile and drove me to my work destination and back so that I would be familiar with the best route for the week that I stayed. The room was spotless and many extra details were very welcome e.g. the small fridge and nice fluffy towels, fresh milk for the coffee and a toaster! The neighbourhood was quiet and a lovely park was within walking distance. Thank you so much Tim and Jill for your hospitality.

Both Tim & Jill, were excellent hosts, they were very helpful re- places of interest, shops e.t.c.even to the extent of driving me around to two areas to show me eateries & pubs. My room and facilities could not have been better. I enjoyed our chats. An excellent stay.

la maison de Cory fait un très bon week-end du chaos de Londres. Il était à quelques minutes de marche des sites emblématiques tels que le grand chêne et l'église Sainte-Marie. Cory a également été très utile et a répondu à toutes les questions sans délai; il a même offert de venir nous chercher et nous déposer à notre station de train. Le seul inconvénient de la propriété était un problème avec les lumières dans lesquelles ils se tourneraient sur et en dehors de leur propre chef, ce qui signifie que nous avions réveiller et avoir pour les retransformer hors toute la nuit. Un séjour agréable, dans l'ensemble.

We had a lovely time here. Cory was very helpful and gave us some excellent recommendations, staying in touch throughout our stay. The house is very well located for Sherwood Forest and Sherwood pines - we walked directly from the house straight into countryside to both. We ate at a lovely French restaurant called Launay and a pub called The Forest Lodge, both in the village, both really good. The house was very comfortable and perfect to explore the local area. Cory is everything you require in a host- he was helpful and is full of info about the area and passionate about getting the right type of break for his guests. The house was great, clean and tidy. The only thing is there is no oven which was a little disappoint. We struggled to cook what we wanted with a halogen so best to plan ahead if your looking to eat in. We would recommend hiring the bikes from Cory as they are great! The bed is comfy upstairs but the sofa bed downstairs is average comfort so we ended up leaving a night early as weren't sleeping too well. Overall a great break away though and we can't fault Cory for his quality of hosting.

I stayed for one night while I was working in the area. The house and room was very clean and tidy, with all facilities working and available to use and I was made to feel very welcomed. I got a full night's sleep with fresh sheets and the single bed was snug and comfy. Excellent value for money, perfect for my needs.

Je suis arrivé en retard à la réservation, et même plus tard, à l'arrivée mais elle me reçut avec joie et m'a aidé avec tout ce qu'il fallait pour organiser mon séjour. La chambre était propre et accueillant, le lit parfait pour obtenir un bon repos après le long voyage. L'ambiance avec Diane et les autres clients était super, vous faire sentir à l'aise dès le début. Merci Diane!

Diane's place is a nice tidy and clean place, offers a decent side room or a box room which was enough for me. There was an issue with the booking since a room was actually not available for one day but I had the money back. Diane was very kind and caring, also she's been understanding when I couldn't clear the room until late in the afternoon.

It was a great experience, as Diane helped me build up some English vocabulary and we met lots of interesting lodgers during my stay. It's a great place to relax and chill out, as there are loads of green space, bike paths, and people are quite friendly in general. I have been lost a few times and everyone was glad to help me around. Diane was very helpful, answered all my silly questions with a smile and made my stay very easy and comfortable, she is very sociable (she loves walking and talking about coffee) and easy going, so don't be shy to ask her anything.

Phillip was very helpful and accommodating in terms of what time we arrived in the evening. He got us settled in quickly and made us feel at home. You essentially have a whole floor of the house to yourself- with the bedroom, bathroom, and living room, which was amazing, especially for such a low price. We felt very at home and it was clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe, but only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Mansfield. The only thing we'd note is that if you are allergic/sensitive to scents, be aware that the house has quite a few of those scented fragrance sticks/ reed diffusers.

Good communication leading up to my scheduled stay but unfortunately I had to cancel my stay due to family reasons. But still I would rate it highly as the host was very welcoming and professional in his chats, even he didn't know me at all due to me being new to Airbnb.

Room as described. I arrived late at night and Phillip was very friendly and accommodating. Ideally situated to access Mansfield town centre 10 mins away.

Philip was a good and thoughtful host - I had a cup of tea in my hand within five minutes of arriving! Excellent value for money, very handy for the railway station, warm, cosy, clean and quiet. Enjoyed a convivial, chatty evening with Philip and would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone else - and may well be returning myself.

Rachael was really welcoming and my night time arrival was no problem. Being able to use the kitchen was brilliant as it made my business stay feel more like home. And it's a lovely kitchen. Clean and comfortable surroundings in a quiet suburban area. Had no problems parking. Will return when I can find a free week in Rachael's calendar!

Nice home in a little town, if you need a place in or around Warsop, then this is it, yes you could stay in a swanky hotel somewhere further out, but I think you'll get nothing more than this house offers. Rachel's communication before arrival was very good. Upon arrival we were made very welcome. The room was very basic but fine for us as we only needed somewhere to lay our heads for the night. Rachael provided us with a good breakfast and we always had access to the kitchen if we wished to make ourselves a hot drink. There was plenty of info available about the surrounding area and its attractions. Thank you Rachael for your hospitality.

Rachael is really kind and welcoming. Her house is incredibly clean and she gave us lot of informations about things we could visit around.

As soon as we arrived Rachael offered us a cup of tea and showed us round. She could not have been more welcoming. There was another guest staying in another room and we liaised about using the bathroom in the morning which all worked well. Breakfast was laid out for us with a good range of cereals and breads. The house is modern and warm, in a residential area close to the town centre. Unfortunately we didn't have time to look round the town as our stay was a stopover on our way home. We would certainly stay here again.

Rachael's communication was excellent and she was really friendly. This was a lovely house that was spotlessly clean. I look forward to staying again another time.

Paul and sarah were wonderful hosts and have beautiful, spacious accommodation. The check in process was smooth, and the extended check out after we had been at a wedding the night before was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. This is one of the best air bnb places we have stayed in. The level of detail they had gone to - towels and toiletries in the bathroom, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits in the kitchen. It was simply fantastic. There was also a supply of oil, salt and pepper so you could take advantage of home cooking. The accommodation is easy to find and in an ideal location for exploring Sherwood Forest and being close to local amenities. Finally we stayed over Easter. Sarah and paul had gone the extra mile and provided us with some delicious chocolate eggs. We will most certainly be back!

This is a great location for a weekend getaway. You're so close Sherwood Forest you could run there. It's in a quaint village with nice pubs and small shops to buy breakfast. The showers are warm and powerful and fresh towels are even provided! We would definitely come here again:-)

Such a wonderful place to stay. Really lovely friendly hosts. The house was great, clean, modern and well looked after. Everything has been thought about, milk in the fridge on arrival and tea/coffee in the cupboard. Excellent communication and helpful in recommending local attractions. The location is ideal for walking to the pubs and shops as well as easily being able to get further afield. Would definitely visit again.

Mark, our host, was a lovely friendly chap who was very welcoming and helpful. We arrived early which he was absolutely fine about and he showed us around the house. Being excited to begin our weekend we didn't take a few instructions in and had to call him a coupe of times during our stay and he was again more than happy to help. The house was perfect for us as we took my disabled mother who needed all ground floor facilities and she insisted on taking her dogs so this place fit the bill. The lovely big oven was great for us too as we took a chef to cook for the 8 of us and she had no trouble with space. Hot tub was brill, just a shame the weather didn't give us much chance to enjoy it! Location wise it was great as it took 5 mins to get to the gorgeous Rufford Abbey and about 15 mins to Sherwood Forest. My 1 tip would be not to go to the local Rose pub as the food and service were awful! We would 100% return to this perfect little country getaway.

Derek and Mark were very helpful, having emailed directions and all useful information in advance and on-hand if any issues arose. When we arrived there were a few 'necessities' already in the fridge and cupboards which was a lovely welcome after a long drive. The lodge itself was ideal and very well equipped. Large kitchen space with both small seating space and large dining table. Beautiful log fire which we really added to our country/winter stay. All bedrooms and bathrooms were exactly as pictures show. Hot tub was the piece-de-resistance for us! This would be perfect for friends meeting up, family get-togethers etc.

Derek (host) and Mark (property manager) were both extremely helpful and welcoming. The property was perfect for our needs, absolutely stunning and reasonably priced. We loved the hot tub, the spacious outdoor area, the comfortable living room and the massive dining room table. The property is a little tricky to find, which wasn't a problem for us as Derek provided very good instructions, but wasn't quite as simple for our taxi's on the night we went out! We also had a fabulous meal at Launey's which we only knew about from Derek's recommendations. We've already started thinking about having a reunion event back at this property!

Fantastic property in a stunning location. We had a wonderful weekend here and have made memories that will last a lifetime. The layout of the house was perfect for our party and we especially enjoyed the hot tub.

Hi The property is great. I never met Derek or his managing agent for Rufford Park. Nice place, we had a nice time at the house. It's perfect for gatherings and family holidays. We are a research group so we found the intermittent wifi - possibly due the thick walls, inhibited working in different rooms. The area is surrounded by private property so you cannot freely walk in the immediate vicinity- we had an incident with local hunters who were not very pleasant.

We had a fantastic three night stay and thought it was a charming and comfortable place with plenty character. The hot tub was a favourite and we'd like to stay again some time.

What a lovely lady Karen is. She makes you feel very welcome and if you get there at the right time you might be lucky enough to get freshly baked cake !!! The accommodation is perfect, value for money and with very comfy beds for a great nights sleep. Everything you need including towels and even a towel for the dog if it gets wet ! We couldn't of asked for anything better and we will definately be back xx

Karen and Ian were the perfect hosts. The rooms were clean and tidy with everything one would require for a getaway. The surrounding areas were beautiful and I was offered full use of the facilities. Thoroughly recommended.

This is a lovely place to stay. Everything has been newly decorated and a lot of thought put in to make it a nice place to stay. The location is quite and close to the woods, nice escape with limited phone signal :) I would recommend easily!

Karen's place was absolutely lovely. The pictures don't do the place justice. In a nice quiet place with everything you could possibly need. We had a fab night's sleep and were already planning our return stay on our drive back home! Plenty of things to do in the area and we ran out of time to do them all! Karen and her husband were both very friendly and welcoming and on hand if we needed them. We would definitely recommend staying here.
