Great, comfortable stay near Entebbe airport. Very pleasant staff. Relaxing compound. Nice rooms. Sumptuous breakfast. Not much else one could ask for!

What. A. Find! The Guinea Fowl is a stunning little place: gorgeous garden, fantastic rooms, tastefully-decorated and cozy house, delightful food and awesome hosts (staff included)! This is truly a superlative place. After six months travelling through Africa, we were simply delighted to spend our last days on the continent in this perfect place in such good company. 12 out of 10 from us both for this great accommodation. Everything was perfect, we had a wonderful stay thanks to the Mary reparatrix. The place was confortable, quiet and we enjoyed a lot the warm welcome we received. We recommand this place.

If you just want a quiet night in a clean room after a long journey, this is the place. Good service and including a basic breakfast only 10 min away from airport.

This accommodation at Entebbe offers good value for the price and is highly recommendable. We stayed there for three nights and it was a good place to arrive to Uganda and as starting point for first discoveries. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathrooms could have more light but are clean either. Note: The guestrooms are part of a convent of catholic sisters. So if you are out for party it may be not the right place for you. But if you are looking for calm and friendly place to stay it's a perfect choice. The sisters an the staff are very helpful and caring. Don't hesitate to ask them if you have any wishes. The price for the room includes a simple but sufficient breakfast containing Nescafe tea, milk, cornflakes, bread (ask for the toaster), fruits, sausagges and sometimes fried eggs. If you ask in the morning, the cook will prepare an evening meal for you. In a sitting room there is always fresh water for free and a fridge with soft drinks and some bottles of beer for a reasonable price. The accommodation is not far from the airport but we rarely noticed aircrafts. In general the convent is situated in a quiet area of Entebbe. From the balkonies you can spot Lake Victoria. It was only in the morning that quite at number of boda-bikes with commuters passed the small street at the back of the convent, so ask for rooms facing the garden. We thank the sisters and the staff or the nice stay.

The sisters guest house is amazing! Safe and secure, just a few minutes from the airport, and walkable to an amazing restaurant. There's wifi, drinking water, spacious rooms with private bathrooms, and shared sitting rooms. Highly recommend!

Faith was great and very helpful! Her place is beautifully decorated, comfortable, very clean and safe! The only downside to the place was the music from several nightclubs nearby. It was a Saturday night which may have made it last longer and be louder. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt it was a great value!

Faith and Wendy are excellent hosts, the apartment is excellent located, near beach, shops, taxis. Safe neighborhood. The place also is very safety. Faith and Wendy were always comunicated with us

I was very happy with my accommodation and even extended my stay for another 7 nights.

What you see in the photos is what you get and more. Faith, Mo' and Wendy offered us invaluable assistance all though our stay. The place is very clean with reliable internet and alternative sources of lighting in case of a power blackout in the night. Very close to many amenities. We've extended our stay here for another week.

This apt was fabulous! Very clean and beautifully decorated. Location is great, vest close to the airport, mall and restaurants. Wendy and Faith are the best hosts. They are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Faith's place is clean and close to the airport

After missing a flight that afternoon, I was upset to have to stay another night. I am sooooo happy I booked with this place only 7 minute drive from Entebee airport. I was happy that Ras promptly picked up and gave the taxi driver directions and greeted us in the drive in. Ras and his staff were very helpful and accommodating as Ras accompanied us to the Mall to get some late dinner. It was pitch black, his help was needed. In the morning we had light breakfast and we're able to have great conversations about our 10 days in Uganda and were able to learn about the politics and opportunities in Uganda. The wifi is strong, big beds and bathrooms.

Ras was a wonderful host. Friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. He even invited us to meet his family. The location is perfect for entebbe centre, the botanical gardens, the wildlife centre, the lake etc. The cook/restaurant makes home cooked food and smoothies which were delicious and well priced. The accommodation itself is straightforward, mosquito nets and clean sheets each day, no hot water (but didn't miss it)- mostly just welcoming and lovely community of people around the place made it. Definitely recommend staying here. Probably worth noting to be clear when you want breakfast and whether you want it served in your room or in the restaurant/communal area. There is also no wifi but this is available at the mall down the road or local hotels that you can visit.

I am very fond of the staff. They are very helpful. The cook remembered we were veggie and that we love her avocado smoothie. The establishment has changed hands. It has new toilets, tiles, paint and the layout is slightly different. The staff are the same as 6 months ago. Ask for the back room if you are a light sleeper. Its very convenient for the airport, botanical gardens, lake Victoria, wildlife centre, chimp island, and a super Mall...all walking distance.

Sólo necesitábamos un lugar para alojarse en Entebbe por una noche, y el albergue de Ras era bueno para el propósito. Cuando llegamos había un corte de energía por lo que el wifi no funcionaba. Nuestro cuarto de baño no tenía luz y la ducha sólo tiene agua fría, pero eso no es realmente demasiado grande de un problema en esta época del año en Uganda, es bastante caliente. Los anfitriones nos proporcionó con lo que pedimos: la segunda toalla, segunda almohada, así como jabón y el cable de extensión. En general, es un buen lugar de presupuesto para una estancia corta.

Ras is really nice, after he showed me my room (which was in a motel near his house) he invited me to his house to meet his wife and kids which was lovely. The room in the motel was clean and the staff were friendly.

The guesthouse oceanic Motel is well located, close to victoria lake, a shopping mall and small markets. We have been picked up at the airport for a reasonable fee. Our room was big with functional interieur and private bathroom with shower and hot water. The room was clean and it was offered to be cleaned after our first night. The breakfast served was fresh. The Service was excellent.

Pick-up at the airport was appreciated, however, we were quite negatively surprised when Robert asked for USD 50, we thought the pick-up was free of charge, there was never any cost mentioned before! The room was basic but OK, however the area is very poor with lot of stray dogs, walking would have been an adventure:-)

Alan's place is a really great location for travelers wanting an early start to the airport or a quick stop after landing. His mum is very friendly and hospitable. It's a four minute walk from the main road where a local taxi can take you to the airport at 1000 Uganda shillings only.

Alans flat was unambiguously the best lodging which I had during my three weeks stay in Uganda. The room was big and equipped very well. The sanitary arrangements exemplarily. The price achievement relation unbeatable. The airport is to be reached on foot. But no fear of aircraft noise. I have heard no airplane. Alans mother has looked super-duper after me.

Albert's Suite is a clean, quiet, well furnished and friendly place. I enjoyed my stay and liked it's proximity to places of interest. Check in was smooth and easy especially as I was picked from the airport. Albert was readily available to provide guidance and solutions to requests. I liked my stay and would return whenever I am in Entebbe, Uganda.

Albert's place is very well located. 5 minutes by foot from Victoria mall and local handicrafts' market. Albert is also very friendly and helpful. I recommend his place.
