I had a pleasant stay. Very clean. I would recommend this place for a stay.

Samuel and family were very hospitable and accommodating. They even prepared meals and opened their home to me. The room is very large enough for two and you have a large bathroom to yourself. Located close to freeway and many stores and food opportunities. There is also a nice pool to use. Well worth the stay!

This coach house was recommended by someone who had stayed a week there and we would also recommend it. We found it to be a warm and friendly environment. It would have been hard to find without the detailed directions provided by the host. A map of Vashon Island's roads is a must.

I came looking for a peaceful getaway and found exactly that.

The Coach House is the most wonderful place to stay. The decor and ambiance is beautiful. The property and trails seem like some place you have seen in movies - verdant forest, views of Mt Rainier from the point and pastures surrounded by all kinds of trees and flowering plants. The Coach House is charming, very comfortable and picturesque. Lisa was very kind and personable. Thank you very much for a memorable stay.

This is our 2nd stay at Lisa's property. This time we chose to stay in the Coach House. Lisa was available for us the entire stay and communication was fast and easy. The Coach House is quaint, charming, and the rustic farm setting was just what we needed for the weekend. It was the two of us and our kiddo, and our friend and her kiddo stayed in the Studio. The girls enjoyed walking down to the beach and casting rocks into the Sound. We grilled our dinner, and enjoyed breakfast in. We also really enjoyed time with the horses in the property. The girls loved them! I highly recommend this stay for anyone who wants to get away from the city for a truly magical experience. Thank you, Lisa! We will be back!

lovely host. very relaxing place. it was raining the day we stay there. we end up just kick up our feet and light up the fireplace and gazing outside all day. will definitely come back to the house.

The moment we arrived at the Coach House, we were instantly enchanted. From the horses and the pony to the array of birds surrounding the lush grounds, Coach House is a truly romantic and inspiring place. It is very well appointed and thoughtfully decorated. Lisa made sure we were able to check in easily and she always responded to our questions in a timely fashion. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds just as much as the cozy bed and relaxing antique claw tub. Thank you for a wonderfully memorable stay, we hope to return soon.

This was a very cleanly stay located in Federal Way. The hosts were very welcoming, and the stay was extremely affordable. The bed was comfortable, and was perfect for getting a good night's sleep.

The bedroom was like a hotel experience; super clean, super comfortable, really nice. Private bathroom even better than 5 star hotels. Mary and her husband gave a warm welcome and made us felt like in home. I highly recommended.

About the house. The apartment was neat, with rooms and washroom all kept at par with hygiene. We felt like it was our home and the stay remained comfortable throughout. The kitchen had dishes and cooking facility in case someone wants to cook, all in a good shape. The neighbourhood area around the apartment has a great vibe to it, soothing and calm. The Bus stop is around 10 minutes of walk with all the connection to downtown. Makes it very convenient. About the host. Randy came across as a very nice host. He made our stay very comfortable and walked an extra mile to make sure our trip went well. He have us rides to the bus stops close by and his behaviour throughout was caring and helpful. It was a great time for us i must say.

Can't speak highly enough about this apartment. The neighborhood is quiet. The apartment is clean, convenient to freeways, and has many amenities. The pictures accurately depict the accommodations. There is even a grocery store within walking distance. We highly recommend this central location.

Booked this sea-themed space for my family to stay during graduation weekend in Tacoma. Jessica was a wonderful host who communicated very well before and during the trip with helpful tips and answers to questions. Upland Terrace was cozy and well equipped for our stay, and the apartment space is located in a quiet neighborhood near Dash Point. Parking is a bit on a slope and might require some skill, but is otherwise manageable. It was an awesome place to come home to after a day out! Thanks Jessica and Cheree!

Hands down the best Airbnb experience I've ever had. Jess and Cheree are -amazing- hosts, and their apartment is fantastic. My wife and I stayed for three weeks, and would stay for years if we could. The place is incredibly cozy, and feels just like home. Jess and Cheree always replied SUPER quick to any messages, and went out of their way to provide us with helpful information and tips during our move to Tacoma. Seriously, they are the -best.- Ten stars out of five! Stay here, you won't regret it!

Alice's place it a cute basement apartment. Comfy bed, desk, lazyboy chair to read in, kitchen w/ cooking ability and stocked with everything you need to fix a meal. ,w/ fridge. Washer and dryer. No oven. No TV , but internet capacity. The tub is a little tricky to fill and navigate. Be careful getting out. tile was super slippery. 5 minutes to the Des Moine waterfront. Good location w bus service. We didn't get to meet her, but she was available by text and checked with us several times. Easy to work with. Would highly recommend this place.

The apartment was very nice and private. The kitchen is well equipped. I stayed for an entire month and it was just what I needed to get started here in Seattle until I found a job.

Our stay at the Wildwood Barn Studio surpassed our expectations in all the best possible ways. The descriptions were spot on…cozy, private, scenic, secluded and quiet…everything we were hoping for our island holiday. The studio was clean, well equipped, efficient use of space and thoughtfully appointed. In addition to the studio, the surrounding acreage provided lovely strolls and breathtaking views of the Sound and Mt. Rainier. Our host Lisa was wonderful as well; giving us much appreciated recommendations and pointers about her beautiful island. We would highly recommend staying at the Wildwood Barn and we are looking forward to visiting again.

Place was clean and cozy. A small but very comfortable space. It was a little tight for two of us and a toddler. Lisa was a great host and very friendly. We didn't need anything from her but I'm confident that she would have been eager to help out had we needed anything.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Retreat by the Sound. The hosts were so welcoming down to chocolates on our pillows and treats to greet us. It is a beautiful space, and we hope to be back again next year!

We totally enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The one floor living space was well designed and so beautifully decorated and furnished. Our hosts were a delight and very thoughtful providing some extras in the kitchen to tide us over until we could get to a grocery store. So thoughtful - thank you! The view from the deck was perfect. Puget Sound - during the day or at sunset - was lovely. Since this house is elevated from the roadway, the views are fantastic. It was a fun adventure driving to and from the house each time with beautiful winding roads. We were close enough to Seattle to enjoy many of the attractions there but had the serenity of Federal Way and the Sound to return to. All in all, an excellent place to spend any length of time and if we return to the region on another vacation we will look at the availability of this place for sure. Thanks for a great place to hang our hats during our recent visit!!!

This is a wonderfully kept residence about 30 mins drive South of Seattle in a lovely quiet spot and only a few mins drive to one of the nearby State parks and beaches on on Sound. Joan greeted us on our 2nd night there and she was very friendly and accommodating. She even left snacks, breakfast things and a bottle of wine. The property is beautifully kept and furnished even better than some hotels. The double shower is amazing with multiple jets/taps and the bed heavenly comfortable.

This home was lovely and perfect for my needs. Gerald and his wife (can't remember her name!) were incredibly nice! Really easy to communicate with. The space was beautiful -- immaculate, larger than it appears in the pics, gorgeous view from the patio, fully equipped far beyond the basics, really easy to find and access. I was working literally down the street so perfect for my needs. Plus, took afternoon walks in the nearby state park and wetlands park. Easy 30 minute drive against traffic into Seattle for dinner. I will DEFINITELY stay here next time I'm in the area.

Joan's bottom floor apartment worked really well for a big swim meet at the King County Aquatics center in Federal Way. Very quiet, clean, high end fixtures & furniture, very comfortable beds, spacious, one of the most well stocked Airbnb spots we've ever stayed in. She is a great communicator, very accommodating, easy check-in, worked with us on exit to help with our schedule. We will definitely try to book here again when back in the area.

Reserve this place now. Don't hesitate. Get it why you can. The pictures are great, but the real place off the hook!!! There are numerous upgrades and amenities that make you wish you never spent your money on a hotel or resort. Like filtered water at ever faucet, life-size stainless-steel refrigerator, stove, and everything you need to cook. Not to mention a real coffee maker or french press if you prefer. Love that I had access to a washer/dryer 24/7. Did I mention the crazy, awesome, shower with duel shower heads! Every room is perfectly light with dimmer switches for you to adjust to whatever to suites your fancy. The hosts, Joan and Gerry, thought of everything. They are very easy to communicate with and willing to help at the touch of a button. Can't wait to visit again!!!

When we arrived in des moines Wa. for the first time after a. 4 day cross country roadtrip. (Galveston Tx. To Seattle..). We were a little nervous as this was our first airbnb experience . We pulled into the cul de sac 2 blocks from the marina exactly as described. We knew where to park thanks to Paulette who had previously texted us precise intructions.Upon arrival all nervousness and doubt went away as Paulette made us feel like long lost friends. On the way in we drove down marina boulevard which has several restrauants to choose from. She informed on what might best suit our taste. She also delivered pleasant news when telling us that we had came in a good week weatherwise. Overall we were very pleased with our first airbnb experience and we're looking foward to our next experience.

Paulette was super friendly! I even had to push back my arrival time twice and she was very flexible. The condo is very nice, roomy. I had a few people over for a meeting and it was plenty of space. If you have a sunny day, the view of the sound is gorgeous!

This is a fantastic location with great views everywhere you look. The water is a short walk away with beautiful sunsets over the Cascades and glimpses of Mt. Rainer. There are plenty of places to eat in walking distance. It was also an easy drive to the airport and a light rail station. Getting to downtown Seattle was a breeze. Paulette was an excellent host and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. All questions were responded to quickly and Paulette gave us some great tips for places to visit in the area.

Staying here was great! His place looks exactly like what you see in the photos. The room was nice and the sheets were clean and new (which was a plus!). Having our own bathroom was also convenient. Todd was an EXCELLENT host! He was really easy going and gave great tips since I was buying a car at the time. Todd was also extremely kind in sharing his kitchen with us. He didn't make us feel awkward when we watched tv or hung around. We really felt at home here. Most definitely would stay here again!

We didn't actually get to meet Todd, he had to go out of town on business, but his friend Michael was there to greet us. Todd and I kept in touch over the phone also. The room was spacious and comfortable and we had access to the living room, cable TV, kitchen and dining room. The bathroom was clean and the shower head amazing. We really bonded with Sara as well, such an awesome kitty! Loved staying at Todd's! Next time we go to Seattle, we know where we'll be staying!
