The stay at Aimee's was very pleasant, beautiful views, neat and comfortable apartment, cozy bed which we had to ask where they bought from which Aimee politely helped us through. Very close to attractions. I would give five stars and also would highly recommend to friends and family.

Very peaceful location with lovely views over garden and hills. Apartment is excellent and recently decorated, offering lots of space and a great decking area to enjoy the views. Only 10-15 mins drive to Lyme Regis/ Charmouth and very short drive to large supermarket. Highly recommended.

We were made to feel welcome by Ian and Janet who were very willing to open up their home to us. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. Axminster is a good place to stay to be able to explore the coast and beautiful surrounding countryside.

Couldn't have asked for better hosts. I had a really pleasant experience; clean and comfortable stay, with lovely people. Having breakfast made for me in the morning was a fantastic touch and I felt incredibly welcomed! Top work.

Friendly hosts, good sized room, very clean accomadation

Janet and Ian were great hosts, really friendly and welcoming, lots of local knowledge and made us tea and chatted when we arrived. The room was spacious and bed very comfy. We had a bathroom to ourselves with an excellent shower and everywhere was clean. Janet made us breakfast in the morning too! The location is about 5-10min walk from center of Axminster and surrounded beautiful countryside.

Ian and Janet were lovely and made us very welcome. Our room and bathroom were nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was parking available for our car, and Janet made a great English breakfast for us.

We had a great stay at Deborah's! The annexe house was comfortable with many amenities. Deborah made sure we were looked after, and was very responsive in her communications. Great location very close to the centre of Axminster. Definitely would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great communication from host, beautifully decorated throughout, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding and all the essentials provided. Close to town for supplies and country walks from the door and only a short drive to Lyme Regis and the coast. Friendly dogs and cat and lovely hammock to relax in outdoors.

The place was perfect. It was a great location for us to explore other parts of Devon. The garden with a hammock was especially nice on a starry night. The flat was well equipped with lots of little extras (hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner, toothbrushes) that mean Deborah's property is well worth it's price. If we had known how nice it was we would have stayed for longer or cooked a meal there instead of going out! Flat is perfect for 4 people as it has two lovely, spacious bedrooms. Deborah was a very friendly host who was always available to answer any queries.

Deborah was incredibly accommodating and her home was beautiful. It was one of the nicest decorated AirBnBs that I have ever seen. The beds were very comfortable, and the tub was huge! Deborah was willing to go out of her way to take care of any issues that we ran into. We had an extra friend who needed to stay with us last minute and she even brought an extra mattress and set of sheets for him to stay on the floor.

It was a holiday home for a few days. I cannot get my head around all this how did your host make you feel etc.

A lovely, clean and cosy annexe in a beautiful location. It's very spacious and nicely decorated with lots of thoughtful little touches throughout. The kitchen is kitted out with all the utensils/ appliances etc. that you'd need. The bed is huge and incredibly comfortable, and the log burning stove creates a very cosy setting – it was one of the highlights for us. The location itself is very quiet and rural, and is amongst some beautiful greenery. The walk to Lyme Regis is short and gorgeous (on the bridal path along the stream), and it's a lovely seaside town to explore, with great walks along the Jurassic Coast. Jill was a great host who was very responsive and happy to help whenever we needed something. The annexe is very private, and Jill maintained our privacy. Overall we'd highly recommend the annexe and would love to return!

This is a paradise on earth! The cottage is beautiful equipped with all amenities and appliances, the garden is amazing with the large magnolia tree and flowers everywhere and Jill is the loveliest host, very discrete and hospitable! She even left an Easter egg surprise for us! If you are looking for peace and quiet as well as a place to explore Dorset and Devon, this is your place! Thank you for everything Jill!

What a gem this cosy place is for two people. We've just spent a week here intending to use the Annexe as a base but it was so welcoming & tranquil we ended up being back by 3 each day to sit & relax in the beautiful cottage garden. We had our 2 Cocker Spaniels with us who loved it too. Jill is an excellent host. We would highly recommend this place to stay. Many lovely walks and stunning scenery.

A lovely, well kept and sweetly kitted out annexe nestled in the rolling hills over looking Lyme Regis. Excellent value for money with Jill being a welcoming and a very happy to help host! Lovely walk along the river into Lyme Regis too.

Jill's place was bright and spacious and very comfortable. The beds and water pressure we're all great, and the flat was only a few minutes from the coast. The views into the garden were also nice, and we made use of the birding guide provided while there. Were I ever in Lyme Regis again, I would definitely consider this location.

The hosts were very friendly, we also loved the homemade cake and breakfast treats they had left for us when we arrived which was very thoughtful after a long drive! They were really helpful sharing lots of tips about the area and places to visit! It is a really lovely quiet village with the village shop below if you need anything, as well as a Tesco a short drive away. We had lots of great days out, Lyme Regis is about a 20 minute drive and were able to explore a lot of the Jurassic coast and surrounding towns! It is a lovely area. The place itself looks bigger than in the photos, and was very cosy - great after days of exploring.

A really lovely annexe. We were made to feel really welcome on arrival with some lovely cake. A brilliant location to explore the Jurassic coast.

Having given only an hours notice we were warmly welcomed by Tim and shown around. It was a gorgeous home with all the amenities required. Tim recommended a pub 50 yards away which was great. Breakfast was supplied including bacon sausage eggs and tomatoes- I cannot recommend them any more than stating that there should be 6 stars !

Such a lovely welcome with some delicious cake to enjoy with a much needed cuppa after our journey. Janet and Tim were helpful and friendly, but also allowed us our own space as they went about their day. We were worried about parking before arriving as the listing said the parking wasn't on site, but the on-street parking was right outside the gate. The Old Grain Loft was spacious and just what we needed, with a relaxing lounge and kitchen area, bathroom and double bedroom. Everything was clean and tidy, and the bacon, sausage, eggs, and homemade bread and marmalade was perfect for breakfast in the morning - a lovely touch and very tasty to enjoy at our leisure in the morning. There wasn't much phone signal and it's in a beautiful quiet village, so be prepared for this away from the hustle and bustle. Drive was around an hour to Exeter and 30 minutes to Lyme Regis. Overall a lovely stay, thanks Janet and Tim!

I loved Janet's place! Annexed to her beautiful home, with a kitchen/diner/sitting room, large bathroom and lovely airy bedroom, the Old Grain Loft is fabulous and was perfect for my stay to attend a local function. It's well appointed and equipped for a really comfy, quiet stay in the lovely Somerset village of Winsham. I really appreciated her warm, friendly welcome along with Tim's homemade bread, Janet's homemade marmalade and delicious carrot cakes along with all the delicious cooked breakfast delights which I could use at my convenience. The bed and duvet were so comfy - I slept wonderfully and appreciated being so rested. Sitting outside and overlooking the pretty garden as the sun went down, I enjoyed just listening to the birds and lambs in the nearby fields, and noticing a couple of bats fly across. Janet and Tim really do have a beautiful spot and a lovely little place for people to stay. I'd highly recommend this place - Janet & Tim were lovely hosts too. Thank you both!

The studio apartment was perfect, exactly as described and had everything we needed. It was clean, bright and modern. Jules was an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return for another few days to this beautiful area.

Chris and Jules have a special, cosy studio in Uplyme. It is quiet, situated in beautiful surrounds, well maintained, clean and tidy. From the outset, the booking went smoothly and Jules was attentive at providing any information I requested. I was warmly received upon my arrival by Jules and the accommodation was perfect. My husband and I had a lovely stay in Chris and Jules' studio. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and the location was fantastic - nestled away in the bush near Uplyme, and a short drive from the coast at Lyme Regis. The studio itself was cute, cosy & very comfortable! We'd definitely love to stay again next time we're back in the UK!

The studio was a perfect place to spend Christmas- the space felt cosy and Christmassy with a tree Chris and Jules got for us, as well as some added festive touches around the room. The whole studio was really well equipped- don't be deceived by the small kitchen, it's big enough to cook a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings!!! Das Studio war sehr schön ausgestattet, in einer atemberaubenden Lage. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war genau das, was wir gesucht hatten. Anders als uns zu treffen, als wir ankamen, und die gelegentliche Text An- und Abreise zu arrangieren, verließ die Gastgeber im Grunde uns zu uns selbst; das war perfekt. Es war ein ganz besonderes zu sehen, dass das Gerät mit Produkten und Dekor von den lokalen Unternehmen ausgestattet besuchten wir - so eine schöne Geste! Alle Armaturen waren zu einem sehr hohen Standard zu, die die ganze Erfahrung noch angenehmer gemacht. Wir besuchten lokale Städte in der Tageszeit, und für uns am Abend gekocht. Es ist auch erwähnenswert, dass die umliegende Landschaft und die Lage des Studios, sind wirklich umwerfende! Ein verstecktes Juwel.

This is the perfect place if you like nature and quietness. The cabin is well equipped and you have your own small garden where it's nice to have breakfast. The surroundings are hilly, especially Lyme Regis, something where we from the flat country had to get used to... We had good times fossile hunting at Charmouth beach and we did a nice trail between Axmouth and Lyme Regis. Chris and Jules were perfect hosts, very communicative.

Tracey's Ambleside Annexe is absolutely sublime! Tracey greeted us warmly (despite us arriving early!) - everything was all ready for us. The annexe is spotless and a lovely space - it felt like a 5* hotel experience with a wonderful breakfast, fresh fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Tracey's attention to detail is outstanding - she has thought of everything! We would definitely recommend staying here.

Tracey's annex is a beautiful little oasis. From the decoration of the rooms, the super comfortable bed and bed linen, to the amazing shower and all the lovely little touches, Tracey has created a wonderful calm hideaway by the sea. I always felt very well cared for but never imposed upon which is a very rare balance to find and one I prize! The perfect host. Very highly recommended.

We loved staying here. Tracey was friendly and welcoming, and the annexe was perfect. She really thought of everything. It was very private, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. It's in a great location for exploring the coast, and just a short walk away from the shops and restaurants in Charmouth. Tracey was available to suggest walking routes and places to eat. Overall, a great experience-- I'd definitely go back!

We travel a lot and have stayed at many different hotels and B&Bs, but Tracey’s place still impressed us with hospitality and thoughtfulness in every detail. There is such a personal touch on everything you find there. We had everything we could think of, even including a little torch if we’d like to go for a late walk and earplugs for light sleepers (but it is a quite and peaceful place). The towels are fluffy and delicately scented, the robes are so comfortable, the room is warm and so clean, the yogurt and granola breakfast parfaits with fruit salad are just yummy and so generous. Lovely place. A high commercial hotel type standard of amenity , cleaning, breakfast, and privacy, but with a very personable host who is helpfull with tourist tips and charming to talk to.

Was für eine erstaunliche lil Ort! Verbrachte verlängertes Wochenende auf der Jurassic Coast in diesem schönen Studio. Der Raum ist perfekt, makellos sauber, moderne Geräte, das Bett bequem, und die Aussicht, erstaunlich. Kann es gar nicht abwarten, wenn Sie ein Outdoor-Enthusiasten ist dies ein Spielplatz sind, sind die Wanderungen und Wanderwege surreal, und sie alle enden um PUBS!

Howard war sehr freundlich und half uns sogar mit unseren Taschen. Wir fe sehr glücklich, solch ein Juwel von einer Wohnung mit einem so schönen Blick entdeckt zu haben, wunderschöne Einrichtung, inc hochwertige Ausstattung, moderne Küche und geräumige schön Bad gemacht werden. Charmouth selbst war perfekt - wir haben schöne Wanderungen entlang der berühmten fossilen Strand und erkundeten in der Nähe von Bridport und Dörfer dazwischen. Wir hoffen, wieder hier zu sein!

The Studio was superb - equipped with everything you could possibly want and more, and the location was second to none - the view was breath-taking. We had such a relaxing break and will definitely be returning -we felt we had our own little private oasis. Howard and Wendy were charming and we knew they were on hand if we needed them.

This was the perfect place for a relaxing Easter bank holiday weekend. Waking up to the views of Stonebarrow, Golden Cap and the sea was delightful and the studio is very well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay (right down to the champagne flutes, roasting pan and gravy boat!). The area offers coastal walking and fossil hunting minutes from the door but the apartment is so comfortable that a rainy day indoors watching the stormy sea from the sofa is also very pleasant. The studio is very well thought out with a brand new kitchen and bathroom and high quality bedding, towels and kitchen equipment which made cooking a pleasure. Thoughtful touches like a delightful welcome basket, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee plus a lot of local information made us feel right at home. Howard and Wendy were the perfect hosts – considerate in ensuring we had all we needed for our stay while leaving us to relax in peace. Their communication was extremely prompt and helpful throughout the booking process and the trip itself. We would both like to come and stay again and would certainly recommend the studio to friends and family.

We had a fantastic stay over New Year. Some of the highlights were sitting outside having breakfast looking out to sea, walking along the beach to Lyme Regis, dinner at the Hix restaurant, walking to the top of Golden Cap, and just spending time in such a tranquil lovely location. The hosts were fantastic - from the welcome pack, to getting a lift to the restaurant on New Years eve when taxis were in short supply, to the courtesy around inviting us to have drinks with them on New Years eve. The place was perfect - stylish decor, perfectly clean. The view over the sea is amazing and instantly lowers your stress levels. We'll definitely be back.

Great place and a very comfy bed. Short walk in to town but buses go past regularly. Great if you just want somewhere comfy to sleep at night. Warm and clean, perfect for a solo woman traveller.

This private accommodation is a gem. It offers a really well presented, comfortable studio apartment, very thoughtfully prepared. The views across to Lyme and inland are wonderful and a joy to look out onto. Michael, the host, is helpful and welcoming.

A spacious room with a good bathroom and a private patio with nice views. There is a small fridge, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster with the cups, plates and cutlery for two. Michael was a great host. In addition to a warm welcome we were also treated by free coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam, honey, yogurt and cereals to help our day start on a high note :-). Clean towels and bathroom accessories such as shampoo, soap and shower gel were included. The place is about 12 min walk to Lyme and 25 min return because of the hill leading to the house. We didn't mind this, but if you'd rather not walk that long, it's possible to drive to a car park and walk for 5-7 min each direction to Lyme town centre. It was a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Michael contacted me with the detailed directions to his house and met us just after we arrived. There was a stock of various items (milk, bread, butter, marmalade, tea, coffee, wine!) which made us feel very welcome. He explained the location and gave us tips on the best ways to get to the town. The room was very comfortable and everything we needed was there. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this airbnb to potential visitors to Lyme Regis.

We had a lovely stay at Lyme Regis and Sheena's flat. The flat is about 15 mins walking distance from the city centre . Very easy and quick to reach to. It has been recently refurbished. Very clean, confortable and modern. There's someone living downstairs but we didn't notice at all. Good place to stay.

Wir hatten eine schöne, wenn auch kurze, Zeit hier. Sheena war großartig, sie uns bei der Ankunft getroffen und zeigte uns in der Wohnung ist schön, genau das, was wir brauchten. bequemes Bett, irgendwo zu kochen, einen ruhigen Platz zum Ausruhen, schöne Aussicht. Das nächste Mal, wenn wir eine Reise nach Lyme Regis planen, werden wir zuerst sein zu überprüfen, ob Rowsley verfügbar ist.

Große Wohnung in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Lyme, genau wie beschrieben, sauber, hell, modern und bequem. Mehr als genug Platz für zwei, würde empfehlen, wenn Sie nach einem Ort in der Nähe Lyme suchen will aber trotzdem einige Abgeschiedenheit und ein Land fühlen. Der Spaziergang in die Stadt folgt dem Fluss, der wahrscheinlich nicht etwas, das Sie tun denken würde, wenn Lyme Besuch aber war wirklich angenehm. Loved our trip!

We spent two wonderful nights in this wonderful apartment in Lyme Regis. Cosy, clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was super comfy as was the sofa bed. Had everything we needed making it feel home from home. Michelle was a wonderful host, available but non intrusive. Would we stay here again? Most definitely!!

Recently refurbished flat with tasteful decoration and everything a person could want within it. Quiet, light and airy with a beachy feel. The new bed was comfortable we would happily stay there again in the future.

We received great directions from Michelle prior to our arrival and found the apartment very easily. It was a very quiet street, very handy parking space and a beautiful home. It was so welcoming, homely and warm. The apartment had everything we needed, and it was great to have a personal note from Michelle to arrive to. Michelle gave us privacy however I felt we could have contacted her had we need to. The apartment had a lovely sense of a homely country-cottage style, everything was clean and barely used. Lovely, soft furnishings and the bed was divine - big & comfy, soft pillows and a large warm duvet. Clean, modern bathroom with soft towels and shampoo and shower gel was a really nice touch too. A short drive down the hill to Lyme Regis town centre and the Harbour and Cobb. A lovely area and a peaceful night away, home from home. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great little flat, perfect for our needs. On my own with two young children I was grateful that the place was so well set up and easy to settle into. Well laid out and well equipped, everything worked and one tiny problem with the bath plug mechanism was sorted and fixed almost immediately. Also very easy to get to all that Lyme has to offer. We hadden echt een leuke vakantie in Lyme Regis. Mooi annex - er was alles wat we nodig hadden en nog veel meer. Geweldige locatie, mooie wandeling langs de rivier naar de stad. Sara is perfecte gastheer! Zeer aan te bevelen!

Sara made us feel very welcome in the annex. The place was just like the photos - the bed was super comfortable. The neighbourhood was peaceful and the short walk to town by the river was lovely. We enjoyed using the maps and books provided by Sara to find lovely local walks, despite the changeable weather. There were loads of great places to eat in town so no need to cook. I would certainly recommend Sara's annex as a great place to stay to explore the area.

Great communication from the start with directions on how to find the place. The annex itself is lovely with everything we needed. It was super clean and the bed is very comfortable. The area is very quiet but the walk to town was lovely and only 10 minutes. It was lovely to meet Sara who came to introduce herself and to check we had everything that we needed.

A friend and I had a wonderful stay in Sara’s annex. It was a nice touch to arrive to a welcoming card and fudge sourced locally. Sara had emailed excellent directions on how to get to the property and source the key to the annex. The annex is light, compact and feels airy. There is everything you require in the annex, if you want to cook in it. Sara popped in after work and made us feel really comfortable, she’s easy to get on with and right next door if you need to ask her anything. She has printed a list of all the pubs and restaurants that are in town (approx. 10min walk) and along the sea front which is approx. an extra 5min walk from town. Sara has also made a booklet with slips of paper of the walks in detail which you can take that have the directions from the doorstep. Sara’s place is in a great location, a nice scenic stroll into town, not too hilly considering you are surrounded by hills. Again Sara has done fabulous directions right down to the colour of some houses you pass which makes your walk kind of fun. I would thoroughly recommend staying here, it would be the perfect place in the summer.

Great little studio apartment on a suburban back street of Lyme Regis, impeccably clean, very well appointed and with a handy outside space. Darren and Sarah are amenable, thoughtful and helpful. The walk along the River Lim to the seafront is beautiful. All in all, a recommended bolthole for one or a couple in the jewel of the Dorset coast.

Stayed for two nights in the Studio, perfect for what we needed. Good views out of the large window, very quiet area, heard virtually no traffic noise, nice bright room, comfy bed and cosy bedding. There is a telly, we didn't use it as we were out walking (or eating :) ) Breakfast items of two types of bread butter marmalade Milk cereals etc. were provided so we could eat to our own schedule. Being separate from the main house, we were able to come and go without disturbing Anna, especially coming back late at night after dinner in the New Inn (also recommended :)) We stayed in Kilmington as we have friends in the village however it is central to so many great beaches etc. and ideal for River Cottage Canteen which is worth a visit.

Samantha and John provided a lovely greeting when we arrived and were wonderful hosts during our time in Lyme Regis. A cream tea was provided on our arrival and and the flat was a perfect little retreat for our 3 night stay, particularly in the evenings when the wood burner could be fired up! Dorset is a beautiful county and we love Lyme Regis, a typically English seaside town with lovely shops and restaurants and so much to do! We loved the walk up to Golden Cap and we will return soon we hope. Thanks again for your hospitality - Nige and Steph

This was a fantastic apartment and just as described. All it would need extra if we were going to live here would be a washing machine, as the owners have thought of just about everything else! Communication was good, and Samantha kindly allowed us to park in the driveway early, so that we could explore the town. A very pleasant young man met us and gave us the keys early. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to the Cobb, and about the same time for a leisurely walk back uphill from the museum - doing a little window shopping along the way. We would recommend staying here.

We had an amazing stay in Samantha's lovely place. The apartment is wonderful- in a picturesque area and only a short walk from the town by a pretty river. It's very well designed, comfortable, and just right for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. And Samantha is such a thoughtful host and left all sorts of treats for us in the apartment which were totally over and above! And we absolutely loved Ron the beautiful friendly cat :-) Thanks Samantha, it was lovely to meet you and stay in your fabulous apartment.

Wir hatten große Hoffnungen für unseren Aufenthalt, wenn wir leichte Erfrischungen zur Verfügung gestellt gingen in und einem warmen, einladenden Raum. Aber wir sind traurig, dass diese kurze gelebt wurde. Wir fanden die Auflistung ein bisschen trügerisch, dass es nicht klar ist, dass die "flach" über der Garage befindet sich direkt neben der Unterkunft Eigentümer. Während unser Gastgeber freundlich war, waren wir überrascht, dass wir nicht unser Gastgeber bis 3 Tage in unserem Aufenthalt erfüllt haben - wir glauben, es ist wichtig, Gäste zu begrüßen, vor allem, wenn so einfach, dies zu tun, wenn sie auf dem gleichen Gelände leben. Sam hat durch airbnb Bote kommunizieren sie aus dem Urlaub zurückgekehrt zu sagen hatte, so waren zu müde, um über Pop! Wir hatten das Gefühl, als ob wir eindringende und fühlte sich unbehaglich nicht Heim Menschen getroffen zu haben wir waren in! Während unseres Aufenthaltes gab es handelt auch Menschen vor Ort, Durchführung laut Bad Arbeit Hauseigentümer am Kiesweg Ankunft um 8.00 Uhr jeden Morgen jede Hoffnung auf einen Urlaub Schlaf bedeutete in gegangen war! Eines Tages kamen wir von einem Tag und konnte nicht Park in das Laufwerk ein und hatte den Handel zu bitten, ihre vehcile bewegen. Während unser Gastgeber entschuldigend war, wir enttäuscht fühlten, dass wir für warnte vor den geplanten Arbeiten nicht gewesen wäre, hätte es bedeutete, dass wir an anderer Stelle geblieben. Am Ende fühlte ich mich nicht sehr gut und fand es schwer, an diesem Ort zu entspannen, so kamen wir nach Hause Mitte der Woche, alles in allem ein disapointing Aufenthalt, dass wir den Genuss ihrer Gäste nur knapp sein Ziel priorisieren gefühlt und war nicht ehrlich arrangment . Das ist schade, so schön sein könnte. Würde buchen Sie ein Hotel für ähnlichen Preis beim nächsten Mal!

Sam & John were very welcoming. The apartment although small, catered for all our needs. It is quaint & set in a property that has a lovely garden. The extra touches to meet your every need were gratefully appreciated. John & Sam supplied a barbecue after our enquiry, so we enjoyed a meal of tasty local beef which was enjoyable. Would have no hesitation in staying again if travelling in the area again.

We had an exceptionally comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautifully appointed and well equipped flat. The décor is absolutely delightful and no effort has been spared by the hosts to make guests feel at home and pampered. The flat is even more beautiful than it appears in the photos and what's more, the outlook is divine - beautiful gardens with mature trees around from one side, and a glimpse of the sea from the other side. The neighbourhood is very quiet, despite being a short walk away from all the shops and delights of the seaside. Turning right out of the lane takes you within minutes to the main street (breakfast at the world class Cornish bakery is wonderful) and thence to the seafront, whereas turning left takes you along the river to the Old Town Mill and also to the seafront. A truly lovely place to stay. Big thanks to our kind hosts.

The apartment was very cosy and a little smaller than we expected but still comfortable, the extra touches were really nice.
