Really enjoyed our stay at beach cottage. When we arrived, Steve and Sandra had very kindly put some milk in the fridge, fruit in the basket and a left a lovely bottle of Rosé. Thanks guys. And a bigger thank you for the fresh lobster! The location is just stunning. The photos don't even do it justice. And you pretty much have it all to yourself. There's something about looking at the Atlantic - just thinking about it takes me a million miles away from this computer. That view is a permanent feature of the cottage, and it is literally on the doorstep. The cottage itself is simple but solid. It's well furnished and the underfloor heating keeps it nice and cosy. If that doesn't float your boat, there's a nice wood burning stove. The bed is a unique four poster which was fairly comfy. It's clear the guys really care. It's the perfect retreat if you're looking for a bit of peace and want to see the Atlantic coastline in all its glory. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We absolutely loved Sandra and Steve's place. The cottage was very cozy and the views absolutely stunning.

Beautiful little cottage right on the waterfront , very clean and nicely renovated. We were very comfortable with our toddler , who enjoyed the seagulls , cows and other nature around the cottage . Steve and Sandra gave us access to their veggie garden so we had delicious fresh vegetables with our meals. Easy access by car to dramatic walks on Sheep's Head . All in all a lovely stay .

What a magical few days in beautiful West Cork. Thank you Steve and Sandra. My trip was half business half pleasure so it was the perfect place to sit and sip wine while taking in the breathtaking view after a long day. I cannot recommend this spot enough and don't get my started on Steve's the veg dome. I could happily live in there. Ha ha. A very special cottage. I cannot wait for a return trip very soon.

We spent two nights at Mary in her beautiful house, 300 years old. I have no words to thank Mary for his hospitality and kindness. We felt at home from the first moments. Mary was a great host, caring and warm, which takes the welfare of its guests. She served us amazing breakfasts, with scones, cakes and homemade jams. And the eggs of the chickens! She waited for us when we arrived late at night and shared with us a little of his life. Another huge thank you Mary! You are a beautiful person and a fantastic host AirBnB. It's spectacular!!! The most incredible of all home! A wonderful place just a few steps from the sea .. In the middle of nowhere with a calm and a picturesque landscape to say the least. If you pass in the area it is without doubt the best place to sleep. Fantastic! And Mary is an amazing woman .. We laughed like crazy .. Definitely recommended!

Mary's house was wonderful. It is in an ideal location. It is luxurious and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. She put people in place to help if we had trouble finding the house. She covered everything to make sure we had value for money. We loved it and would highly recommend it.

Speisen serviert nur an bestimmten Tagen, also am besten Telefon und überprüfen, dann können Sie einen Tisch im Voraus buchen. Zurück zu 'The Meadows' und diese selige Rückzug. Alles ist vorgesehen als Mary dies als ihr zu Hause verwendet, und es war ein Privileg, dort zu bleiben. Das Haus war makellos bei unserer Ankunft und wir haben versucht, es so zu halten. Umfassende Wäsche bedeutete, dass wir konnten einige unserer Kleidung zu waschen und die Küche ist wirklich ein Kredit zu Maria. Im ersten Stock, drei ausgezeichnete Schlafzimmer, alle mit en-suite. Mary's home is the complete package. Luxurious, comfortable and the most scenic location one could wish for. The whole family loved it including a 17 year old girl and our golden retriever Willow, with countless pictures of Willow sitting enjoying the view from the bedroom window. The house is so comfortable and well equipped, we cooked at home. Everyone was sad leaving so an extended return trip will definitely be on the cards. Thank you Mary for opening your idyllic home!

We arrived to The Meadows in the dark, we couldnt believe our eyes when we woke up to the amazing view in the master bedroom! It was also great to arrive with our 8 month old son and have a cot ready and waiting for him. The house is absolutely stunning, tastefully decorated and has everything you could need and more. There were little touches that made you feel that real thought had gone into getting the place ready for us, the food waiting but also baby bath stuff set up for our son. There was a booklet with all the information you needed on the house and area that was very clear and handy to have. Mary was a very quick to reply and very helpful. The surrounding area is breathtaking, even just to drive around. Even when it was raining the house is so nice to hang around and with all those windows you still get to enjoy the surroundings. Would love to come back some day and highly recommend everyone to stay here. Thanks so much Mary for letting us enjoy your house, it was the highlight of our holiday!

Unser 3-tägigen Aufenthalt in Marias Haus auf Schafskopf Way war ein Highlight unserer Woche in Irland. Unser Tipp: eindecken mit ein paar Mittagessen und Abendessen liefert im Supermarkt in Bantry auf dem Weg durch. Während Sie das Abendessen innerhalb von 15 Minuten mit dem Auto zu finden, ist es schön, mit Ihnen zu haben Optionen, wenn Sie möchten, am Meer, in den Garten und schauen Sie nicht gehen Fahren und würde lieber einfach nur sitzen.

Spotlessly clean, spacious, comfy beds and very well equipped, these cottages are perfect for touring and walking on the Sheep's Head peninsula. Elaine was on hand and available for all our needs and questions. A great place to stay.

Perfekte Lage direkt im Dorf Kilcrohane. Ich habe Elaine nicht bis zu unserer Abreise, als wir aus viel waren, aber sie getextet mich mehrmals um sicherzustellen, dass wir alle in Ordnung für alles waren. Das Haus ist buchstäblich nur wenige Schritte vom Geschäft und örtlichen Pub, ein extra paar Schritte zum Creamery Cafe. Sehr sauber und gepflegt, würde wieder bleiben!

Dieses Haus war wirklich wunderschönes und sehr gut gepflegt. Elaine war ein perfekter Gastgeber, sie hat uns ll die Informationen und eine Kiste voller Spielzeug für die Kinder: -) ... der war in den regnerischen Tagen sehr hilfreich! Kilchroane ist ein kleines Dorf, aber es hat ein paar Geschäfte und ein Pub, in dem wir sehr gute Musik gehört. Spielplatz und Strände sind bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Bantry und die Beara-Halbinsel ist innerhalb von 30 Minuten Fahrt. Vielen Dank!!!!

Elaine is a very kind and accommodating host. The bay view cottage is a very nice and comfortable place to stay with family. My folks and I were looking for a quiet, safe and authentic place to spend our holidays and it has been perfect! We would recommend Kilcrohane to any families willing to enjoy the Sheep's head wild nature, beautiful landscapes and very nice people!

Elaine is lovely and Bay View cottages was the perfect place for our family to enjoy the Sheep's Head. Amazing hikes; friendly and helpful locals gave us suggestions for hikes, places for lunch and even swimming of the pier for the brave few in my family (thanks Elaine!) We are still traveling ireland another 10 days following the "wild Atlantic Way" but I think Kilcrohane will be our favorite stay.

We found Heron Cottage easily due to the photos and good directions! The village was delightful and locals very welcoming!! The house was huge and very comfortable. Thankfully Josephine provided us with some fuel to enable us to have a fire to keep warm!

Wir hatten eine absolut wunderbare Woche in diesem schönen Haus, das die schönsten Blick auf das Wasser hat. Das Haus ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet und die Aussicht aus den Fenstern Märchenbuch von allen Etagen sind spektakulär. Die Anlagen sind üppig mit schönen Gärten und es war so entspannend der Lage sein, die Kinder spielen zu sehen, während die Terrasse zu genießen. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, nicht nur mit dem kurzen Spaziergang zum Dorf, aber auch Sheeps und West Cork zu erkunden. Josephine und Maurice waren sehr schön und sehr hilfreich in Verbindung mit zu sein. Es war alles sehr einfach und ist ein Ort, würde ich in jeder Jahreszeit zu sehen lieben.

Great house in a beautiful and peaceful location on the gorgeous Sheep's Head peninsula. Josephine was very kind and responsive to queries and although she could not greet us herself, Maurice met us at the house - a lovely man and we had a great chat. The house is exactly as described - with spacious, comfortable, light-filled rooms and spectacular views over the sea. It's in a lovely setting, with a large mature garden, and we found it very relaxing to sit out front looking out to the ever-changing seascape with the blue hills of the Mizen Head peninsula in the distance. The house is a short walk into Kilcrohane village - a sweet and friendly little village with a shop selling local produce and crafts, a nice restaurant and several friendly pubs. The house itself was spotless and very well-equipped with everything you could need - the kitchen in particular, with thoughtful extras like a steamer and a salad spinner... the sitting room was very comfortable with picture windows onto the sea and the garden - nice to sit and watch the sea or the birds in the garden flitting about among the trees. We found the Sheep's Head peninsula to be a revelation - unspoilt, quirky, and friendly with a few small pubs of great character close by (most notable the Tin Pub in Ahakista and Fitzpatrick's/Eileen's in Kilcrohane). The scenery is beautiful and there are a number of good walks close by (eg down to the lovely lake by the sea) and longer loop walks all around you. It's also a short drive to the next peninsula where you can drive down to Schull, the gorgeous village of Crookhaven and lovely sandy beach at Barleycove. We especially recommend the Heron House Gallery for artisan food and beautiful gardens and the Good Things Cafe / Cookery School in Durrus for a special high-end meal. Durrus has some great pubs too that have regular music sessions. We were sad to leave and hope to return again some day.

Donal was a very thoughtful host. His sister who lives close by helpful, but not at all intrusive. The house is wonderful, spacious, clean and very well equipped (though watch for the water - sometimes the filtration system reboots so you do need to have bottled water for drinking). Our time was great. In particular sitting in the sun-room looking out over Dunmanus Bay to Three castle Head (just beside Mizen). Overall the Sheep's head peninsula is a great spot for a family break.

A fantastic, spacious, clean and relaxing house. It is beautifully located and within easy reach of Kilcrohane and Ahakista. Donal was an excellent host. Although we did not meet in person, he provided me with all the necessary information and made contact on our arrival to ensure that we had found and gained access to the house. We had a superb time!

We stayed two nights in Donal house. It is magnificent, the View is fantastic the house is really big And well furnished. Worth while to drive to Mizen head from there. I recommend Donal place for people travelling in that area.

Mary and Michael were wonderful hosts! Situated on Sheep's Head peninsula with panoramic views of the sea and surrounding rugged countryside, the location of the house is amazing. A short walk (about 20 minutes) brought us right down to the seashore where my family saw dolphins sporting in the waves. Although the house is deep in the countryside, there were a number of nice cafés and pubs nearby -- e.g the Blue Heron for lunch and Arundels by the Pier for a drink. The small town of Ahakista was a perfect base for exploring West Cork. As for the house itself, it was spotless and comfortable. We especially liked the working fireplace; it helped chase away the chill in the evening once the sun had set.

Had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Mary and Michael's lovely home. The house itself is large and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and a wood fire with all the supplies needed for a comfortable stay. Added to this the house has breathtaking views of the bay and surrounding area. Most definitely recommended for those who are looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay and are interested in plenty of walks in the peninsula.

La maison est spacieuse et très confortable. Il ya une plus belle vue de la mer. Si vous aimez marcher, vous avez l'embarras du choix. La maison est très bien équipée dans les moindres détails. Couvertures électriques sur tous les lits! Il y avait une boîte de bonbons laissés sur le comptoir pour nous, très réfléchi. Nous avons eu toute la famille pour le dîner de Noël et Marie nous a fourni d'ustensiles de cuisson supplémentaires sans me demander. Ce fait l'effort de journée libre. Je ne peux pas les remercier assez. La sœur de Mary nous a même offert des gâteaux faits maison sur l'un des jours que nous étions là. La communication avant et après était excellent. J'avais laissé derrière certains éléments dans la maison et ils se sont arrangés pour eux d'être livrés à la maison de ma mère. Nous avons eu un merveilleux Noël. Je recommande vivement cette maison en toutes saisons. Nous étions là-bas dans les profondeurs de l'hiver mais la maison était si serré que ce n'était pas grave du tout. Merci.

The Host was very friendly and we had lots of laughs together! The cottage was cosy and we enjoyed our stay there. What we liked was that she rectified anything that we complained about which we appreciated.

Sheila's Cottage is a wonderful and cosy place to stay. Sheila usually lives there but left us her house for the only night we stayed there. Everything you might need was available and the place was clean and tidy. We loved to sit in front of the fireplace. It's a pity that we only had time for one night. We met Sheila only at the morning and had a lot to talk about renovation and all the world and his brother. We felt like at home!

Sheila's cottage is soooo lovely we didn't want to leave at all! With its cosy stone and wooden interior, romantic stove, warm floor heating & proper insulation and amazing views of the ocean & surrounding land and the stars at night, it was the perfect location for a chilled out winter getaway. We can only imagine how amazing this place will be in the summer, when one can sit outside, or as Sheila suggested, lie on the trampoline and gaze at the stars for hours. Sheila is a lovely and very welcoming host and she showed us her 'West Wing' as well. We're very impressed with her renovation of the cottage and building the extension - you can see she did it with great care, skill and passion! We'll be back!

Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir d'y séjourner et de découvrir les alentours. Nous avons eu comme cadeau pour notre fille à qui manquait son piano, un piano et une cheminée pour nous pour nous sentir dans un environnement familier. Nous y retournerons, si l'occasion se présente, avec plaisir et recommandons Fiona à toute personne désireuse de passer du beau temps en Irlande; à Ahakista précisément.

A beautiful spacious house surrounded by beautiful nature. Nice and quiet.

Fiona was lovely to deal with--prompt, pleasant, and no nonsense in all matters. She gave us excellent directions and made clear that she was on hand should any difficulties arise (none did). The house is extremely spacious and comfortable. The setting is picturesque and could not be more peaceful. Excellent WIFI and phone signal. Ideal for families or, possibly, a group of walkers. Stunning, well signposted trails all along Sheeps Head and two great local pubs (one serving good food).

Wir hatten ein schönes langes Wochenende hier. Das Haus ist groß und hell, und hat fast alles, was Sie in Unterkunft für Selbstversorger wollen könnte. Obwohl es einen schönen Blick auf das Meer hat, ist es noch etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß vom Dorf Ahakista.

Fiona's place is really lovely. Set in the middle of rustic Ireland. Perfect place to get a way and escape reality. House is really big. We've stayed with 10 friends and still had plenty of own space left. Fiona was really helpful during our stay and always reachable if we had any questions. If you're looking for a nice Irish getaway with a coy of people look no further!

This place was amazing! We were looking for a quiet break, and couldn't have chosen a better place. The house itself is gorgeous, really nicely decorated with a cosy sitting room / kitchen and a bright conservatory area which is perfect for breakfast. The bedroom was even better, with a comfy bed and views over the sea. We weren't brave enough to try the outdoor pool but it looks lovely for warmer weather! The location was also perfect. The peninsula is quiet and peaceful, with some great walks overlooking the sea cliffs. We were in easy driving distance of plenty of other places - Three Castle Head was my favourite! Julie was very friendly and communicative, and sent us loads of information about the surrounding area. I would definitely stay here again!

Dear Julie and Alessandro, I wasn't on holiday last year, so it was a relief for me to take some days off and being honest, I could not have chosen better. You are the loveliest, most caring people and hosts, beaming hospitality at its highest level. Right after the booking you got in touch with us in order to ensure us to be really well- informed about the sights of Bantry. When arriving we were spoiled by those utterly delicious and sticky brownies, which were better, than mine... I must say. During our stay you were there for us, every time we needed something: bikes, raincoats or really pleasant chats. We are really thrilled to spend this unforgettable time with you and in your cosy studio. What else to say? Splendid isolation, breathtaking landscape and the most unique and stylish interior I've ever seen in my life. Once I have my own apartment or cottage I will definitely ring you with the aim to be my interior designer. But until then I am really convinced to see you again, to share this joy with my visiting friends from Budapest and colleagues from Dublin. Thank you all your kindness and keep in touch! Niki

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful spot. Highlights for me were being able to see the sea from bed, the fire place - the weather wasn't so warm when we were there, so we made a fire every night - and the well-equipped kitchen - it has absolutely everything you could need to cook (I recommend stocking up at the markets in Cork or Bantry on your way down - they have great fresh fish, veg and bread and there aren't so many shops nearby the cottage). There were only 2 of us, but there is more than enough space for 4. Arranging arrivial, etc with Annabel was super easy. Highly recommend!

Our 2nd time staying here this year. A lovely little house with character & touches of Art throughout. Great area too.

We had a lovely stay on Annabel's cottage. It's a hiker's paradise down there and the spectacular walk to the lighthouse at Sheep's Head is something we'll never forget. Annabel's place has a great lived in feel to it, a million miles away from the sterile holiday home experience. The room with the stove is very cozy with the fire on. A great place to hole up with a book. The house is full of her artwork and it was great to be able to see her gallery even though she wasn't open for the season yet. Overall a great experience.

Großen Haus und Lage. Liebte die Aussicht aus den Fenstern der Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss. Schöne ruhige Gegend mit einigen großen Wanderungen vor der Haustür. Haus war gut ausgestattet und das Café nebenan tut leckeres Essen.

Seaside Cottage ist Teil des Himmels. Es war mein zweites Mal dort zu bleiben, damit wir den wunderschönen Garten zu sehen, in voller Blüte Glück hatten. Wir hatten jeden Morgen Frühstück auf der Picknick-Tisch am Meer. Ein schönes Haus in einem schönen Ort.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Annabels Hütte. Annabel ist ein toller Gastgeber und eine fabelhafte Künstler. Die Hütte ist voll von ihrer Kunstwerke und ist gemütlich und hat alles, was Sie brauchen. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und wir folgten Annabels Beratung und hatte zwei tolle Tage, die Erkundung und Schafkopf Mizen Kopf. Wir würden empfehlen einen Aufenthalt dort und hoffen, in nicht allzu ferner Zukunft.

Wonderful peaceful county place away from the touristy areas of West Cork. Worked well for our family of 4 with one on the fold out futon. Kids loved the gardens and dogs but especially the pigs. Do not miss the great food next door in the cafe!

We had a lovely time staying at Seaside Cottage. The cottage is wonderfully situated, had everything we needed and Lois and Annabel made us very welcome. The weather was fabulous and the area is magical - can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Rock Cottage. It was cosy and warm and everything was thought of. Jacqueline was very friendly and helpful... We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay!

We had a wonderful time at Rock Cottage. This was, by far, the best place we stayed on our trip to Ireland. Jackie was a very gracious hostess. Had a blast feeding the animals!

What a wonderful surprise! Rock cottage was the highlight of our 5 nights in west cork the only problem was we couldn't stay there longer. Myself and my husband (and our 2 Maltese dogs) arrived last Friday for 3 nights, we were greeted by Jackie who was an incredible host she had left us fresh eggs from the chickens and lots of other bits to start us off. It was such a lovely touch! Nothing was a problem. The cottage is on 17 acres so it is so really peaceful comfortable, quaint and cosy - yet your still very close to the village of schull and on just off the main stretch which gets you to all of the sightseeing locations. Really I can't say enough about the place we really really loved it, we would highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit. We are very particular and have very high standards and rock cottage exceeded them completely!

Jackie is a great person. She welcomed us to her lovely rock cottage with a surprise. We had great wine and bread waiting for us in the warm cottage. In the morning, the donkeys and the ducklings greet you in the beautiful green surroundings. The cottage is perfectly located and the nature is amazing in the peninsula. We definitely hope to stay at rock cottage again, and have a cup of tea with Jackie.

Wir waren begeistert von Rock Cottage! Es war ein absolut fantastisches Hotel und die Lage im Südwesten von Irland war ideal !! Die Hütte selbst war sehr gut ausgestattet, und der Holzofen gab es eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre! Die Lage war wunderschön - auf einem schönen Bauernhof, große Bäume, schöne Aussicht von der Spitze des Hügels und sehr ruhig! Die Wanderung auf dem Bauernhof und in der Gegend war unschlagbar! Wir waren in der Nähe Küstenstraßen, am Ozean Städte und so viel schöne pastorale Landschaft atemberaubend. Jacqueline und Jonathon waren sehr warm und einladend Gastgeber! Sie waren bereit, Fragen zu beantworten und helfen mit allem, was erforderlich ist. Sie gaben uns sogar etwas Gemüse und Kräuter aus dem eigenen Garten! Wir haben wirklich genossen sie kennen zu lernen. Das war auf jeden Fall ein 5-Sterne-Erlebnis !! Ich würde es jedem empfehlen.

Ci è piaciuto molto Rock Cottage. Così carino e accogliente, una bella vacanza in una bellissima parte del paese. Amichevole e albergatori accoglienti e consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che cercano di scappare da tutto.

We didn't actually stay in Rock Cottage but got to stay in Jackie's gorgeous chalet which was everything we wanted and more. Weather on our first day was bad but the chalet was equipped with tv / dvds and a kitchenette with everything you could need and we were happy out relaxing in the cozy space. We had our little dog with us and Jackie even dropped in with treats for him and fresh duck eggs for us which was a lovely touch. The setting of the properties is idyllic, with gorgeous grounds for walks and the resident animals just add to the experience. We enjoyed our lovely cup of coffee with Jackie and her partner in the main house before checking out. They were extremely welcoming and attentive hosts but at the same time left us with our own space during our stay. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Well... Rock Cottage has been our best experience in Ireland. This place is like a little heaven. Birds singing (and also ducks and donkeys!!!) beautiful scenery, calm and relaxing atmosphere, and everything you might want to have while on a getaway from busy life. The cottage itself is just beautiful. Even more than in pictures! The kitchen is unbelievably well equipped, the decoration is so warm and romantic. From books, to c-ds and dvd's, and a tv with all the channels. A cozy fireplace makes you forget about winter outside. Shower is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Upatairs there is a lovely bedroom- spacious and comfortable, with nice windows to the skies. But even more than a perfect place to stay, (and not ever want to leave), there's Jackie and Jonathan who host you with so much care and love. They make sure you are always happy and that nothing is missing. They went all the way to make us comfortable and have been so kind and generous. More than expected! We came here without a car, and Jackie arranged the bus to stop near the cottage for us. They helped with rides and assured we are always satisfied. No words can describe their caring and honestly kind personality. Thank you Jonathan and Jackie, for all that you've done to make this holiday feel like a dream coming true. Orel & Sivan

Robert ist ein absolut zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Er ist sehr hilfsbereit, nett und kommunikativ. Robert wohnt während seiner Anwesenheit ein Haus weiter und ist damit bei Fragen oder Problemen sehr gut erreichbar. Ansonsten übernimmt Katherine, die auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit ist die entsprechenden Abstimmungen oder Unterstützungen. Katherine lebt mit ihrem Mann in einem weiteren Nachbargebäude. Die Lage des Hauses ist ein Hammer! Aus den Fenstern von Küche, aus dem Obergeschoss und aus dem kleinen Wohnzimmer neben dem Hauptschlafraum hat man wahnsinnig schöne Aussichten auf die Bucht und die gegenüberliegenden Berge. Das Haus ist insgesamt sehr großzügig mit 3 Bädern, Badewanne, Duschen, etc. Es ist in einem Neubauzustand und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alle unsere Ansprechpartner waren unkompliziert, sehr nett und es war uns eine Freude diesen Ort kennen zu lernen. Wir werden gerne wieder einen Urlaub bei Robert verbringen.

Nous sommes restés avec beaucoup de plaisir à Julia's. Cette maison de vacances fait sa promesse plus que vrai. Un excellent séjour pour les demandeurs de repos, amoureux de la nature, amoureux de la mer et des touristes. La maison est spacieuse et enquipped avec tout le confort. En outre, il offre beaucoup d'intimité si vous louez la maison avec plusieurs personnes. La vue est plus belle et nous avons eu la chance de voir un groupe de dauphins nageant dans la baie de Dunmanus. L'accueil a été chaleureux. La région offre de nombreuses possibilités. Donc nous avons fait: - De belles promenades dans les environs immédiats de la maison - Un beau voyage à Mizen Head - Une promenade magnifique sur trois Châteaux Chef - Un voyage en bateau à l'île incroyable Cape Clear et Fastnet - Un voyage à Moutons péninsule chef - Voyages à Schull (port), Goleen, Ballydehob, Bantry Nous avons visité belle Barley Cove, Crookhaven et fait beaucoup de l'observation des oiseaux réussie.

Robert has created a little gem with magnificent facilities in a superb tranquil location. It is within easy reach of both Goleen and Schull. The views from the "Top of the world" road to Goleen are a beauty to behold. The property is really well modernised with all mod cons. Highly recommended. David.

Robert was super helpful before we arrived, he was eager that we had everything we needed for our stay. Mary, who looks after the house, welcomed us and was on hand to assist with any questions throughout our time at Joseph's. We had a fantastic week. The area is breathtakingly beautiful, wonderful for walking, running, cycling or just sitting outside and taking in the view. The house is incredibly spacious and well stocked. The living and dining area are great for a large group. We spent evenings sitting in front of the huge windows watching the changing light on the water and Sheep's Head peninsula beyond. You could never tire of this view. The house is in a great location for touring the area and visiting Barleycove beach. We will definitely be back!!

Immaculate, modern, spacious, and peaceful home in an idyllic location. I would highly recommend for any family gatherings, or just some time away from the city. The roads to the house are not for the feint hearted, but certainly more than worth it for such a perfect home with breath taking views.

We had a fantastic stay in Schull. The accommodation is perfect and the views of Dunmanus Bay are just breathtaking. Our host Robert could not have been more helpful, and so was Catherine. The property is well located to explore West Cork and Kerry. We enjoyed our trips to Crookhaven, Barleycove Beach, Schull and Three Castles Head. We had a great week, and were blessed with good weather. We look forward to staying again really soon. Edith
