Overall was good, spacious and clean room. With a small pantry, fridge, microwave and washing basin inside the room. A friendly host. Kept changing breakfast for us during our stay. 15 mins walk from Amsterdam Central station, many shops & eateries along the way which made the walks more interesting.

Uns hat es bei Gordon und Amy sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben im gelben Zimmer übernachtet. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Auch für Tee und Kaffeezubereitung ist alles vorhanden. Es gab zudem frisches Obst, Joghurt und Gebäck. Das zimmer hat zudem noch einen balkon und ein eigenes waschbecken. Die Toilette und die Dusche teilt man sich mit dem Zimmer gegenüber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die lage super! Sehr zu empfehlen

This was exactly as described! Very easy to find and Gordon met us there and helped us with our bags. Perfect location, easy to walk to anywhere we wanted to go! It was nice having breakfast provided, we enjoyed the treats. It was a spacious room and we really enjoyed our experience there! I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Amsterdam. Great bed, great hosts, great food, great altogether!

Fomos muito bem recebido pelo Gordon, que nos mostrou o quarto e se colocou a nossa disposição durante a estadia. A localização é excelente, com mercados perto, muitos restaurantes legais e também dá para ir andando para qualquer lugar de interesse na cidade. O Gordon abastecia nosso quarto diariamente com suco, iogurte, frutas, pão e café, o que eu achei muito bom. A única coisa que realmente precisa melhorar é a cama, pois o estrado caiu num dos dias, e o Gordon resolveu na hora, mas também a cama faz muito ruído, o que atrapalha o sono. Mas mesmo assim recomendo o quarto pelo custo benefício!

We had a good time at Sleep at Amy's, Gordon is very friendly and everything was as described. The Area of Amsterdam is nice, there are many Café's and shops around, a Supermarket is right over the Street. We would definetly come back!

Gordon was really welcoming and kind to us, the room was big and really clean, situated in a splendid position ( 15 min. by foot from the center ) and in a calm and safe street. They also gave us a lot of things for breakfast. I will definitely suggest this place.

This place is in a great location on a street with tons of shops and restaurants, right next to the Jordaan and Centraal Station. Gordon was easy to communicate with for a last minute stay, and the room was exactly as pictured. There's a shared shower that is totally functional, and the room is quiet and spacious. I can be sensitive to scents and found the air fresheners and detergents to be a little overwhelming - but I kept the windows open all night which provided great air flow. Definitely recommend this place for easy access to some of the best parts of Amsterdam.

Julia was a warm and kind hostess. She was very helpful with our stay. She even help us carry our luggage downstairs when we left. The stairs were tight and steep. The location and neighbor are great.

Julia was not able to greet us when we arrived but gave us easy instructions for how to check in. Her place is wonderfully bohemian, full of art and books--and birds! The location is fantastic--15 minute walk to the train station, and the neighborhood is full of charming shops and restaurants. The room is a bit small, so if you plan on bringing lots of luggage, it might be a tight fit. It's also up two narrow flights of stairs, which may be difficult for some. We had a lovely breakfast and lovely conversation with Julia on our last day in the Netherlands.

Julia was a wonderful host. She was home to let us in when we got there around 9:30pm for a quick overnight stay. In the morning, she had gone to buy fresh croissants and she gave us breakfast: croissants, cheese, fruit salad, fresh squeezed orange juice. It was lovely, but the best part was that she joined us, and we got to talk to her and get to know about her for over an hour before we had to leave to catch our flight. The location is amazing - it was an easy walk from Amsterdam Central Station (central train station) and such a gorgeous walk - so many beautiful canals, shops, restaurants, etc. I only wish we were able to stay longer than a short layover before our flight back the next day.

Julia was great, flat is in a nice area, quiet but within a few minutes walk are cafes/ restaurants. Bed is comfy and we had no problems. The next day Julia made us breakfast and let us keep our bags there after the check out time. I would stay here again.

Julia's flat is in a perfect old Amsterdam house, in the heart of the Grachtengordel, close to lovely shops and nice restaurants. She was very friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcome and also making helpful suggestions about places to eat and so on. Strongly recommended.

Julia's place is an easy walk from Amsterdam Centraal. From the moment I arrived she made me feel at home. Good conversation without being intrusive. Great, fresh breakfast. A ridiculously comfortable bed. And super cute birds :-) Thanks Julia!

Julia was a gracious hostess. Her space is cozy, prettily decorated, and in a fabulous location. She is friendly, easygoing, and personable. I highly recommend her.

This place is 3 flights of stairs up. At the airbnb, we were provided with only 1 set of keys. Overall, the place was really clean and spacious. It was actually the cleanest airbnb that my friends and I stayed at in Europe. It has a really beautiful view of the canals as well. The place had a working heater, which was great because during one of the nights, it was freezing. The toilet was located next to the room and the shower was separate; it was located upstairs. I believe there was only 1 (big) mirror in this place, and was located right by the front door. It also had a kitchen that we didn’t really make great use of. We only used the microwave to warm up our liquids. Tea was also provided, which was nice. Most of the time, my friends and I ate out at the restaurants. There were many restaurants located downstairs and down the street, all walking distance. Everything else was also walking distance, such as the shops and some tourist attractions. In all, I’d totally book this place again if I were to come back.

Jorge s studio is very well located in Amsterdam, he was attending for was, he is very solicitous.

Amazing spot in amsterdam! Jorge is very nice and we couldn't have gotten anything better for the price point. I would stay here again for sure!

We loved the location in the heart of Amsterdam! Love the beautiful stained glass windows, the beds were very comfortable and the host was eager to answer questions and give us tips. The building is historic and over 400 years old, - a treasure, we felt quite at home. Jorge is a wonderful hostcand human being!!! See you next time!

A nice place in a great location. However, the room, shared bathroom and shower have been a bit sloppily renovated. It was also quite noisy during our stay due to construction work right under the window. Jorge was a great host and works downstairs, so getting and returning the keys is easy.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter le centre ville, mais un peu bruyant (l'isolation n'est pas top). La chambre convient bien à un séjour de quelques jours, malgré quelques imperfections (douche capricieuse, manque de vaisselle, finitions peu appliquées). L'accueil est très chaleureux et Jorge est très disponible. Il travaille dans le restaurant qui se trouve en bas de l'immeuble et donc il est facilement atteignable. Il essaie aussi de répondre le plus possible à nos demandes, ce qui est très appréciable.
