Christina and Oscar was very welcoming. Their home is a lovely retreat, with a garden that over looks a stream and woods. All in all quite beautiful.

Ich, mein Freund und unser Border-Collie an Christina Platz blieb nur für eine Nacht. Wir wünschten, wir waren dort für ein bisschen mehr! Das Haus ist genau, wie beschrieben und auf Bildern zu sehen, sauber und ordentlich wie jemand wünschen würde. Christina war nicht da, aber ihr Freund Oscar ist ein toller Gastgeber :) Große Kommunikation, bevor es bekommen und während unseres Aufenthaltes. Oscar hat uns freundlicherweise rund um das Haus genommen und ihre fantastischen Gärten und machte uns zu Hause fühlen, sofort! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! :)

We didn't get a chance to meet Christina, so Oscar looked after us instead and was very welcoming. The house is just as lovely as the pictures and the garden and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. After a great sleep in an amazingly comfortable bed we ate a lovely vegan breakfast while watching polo ponies clip-clopping past. While one of the dogs is quite vocal when greeting you they are both very sweet natured, friendly and docile. Their cat is also very friendly and followed my boyfriend around all morning demanding belly rubs. Would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again if I'm in the area.

A beautiful place, the perfect spot to relax. Mari was a wonderful host and made our first trip away from our little girl very memorable, especially with the delicious breakfast! We'll certainly be back to explore the South Downs further.

Mari's place was great and very clean and tidy. It's a quiet getaway, but also close to shops and restaurants. Mari is an excellent host and she was nice enough to provide us with many supplies. I would definitely recommend this place and we look forward to visit the cottage again.

This place is absolutely beautiful, homely, quiet and in the ideal location for Midhurst and all the surrounding South Downs walks and attractions. It has everything you need for basic cooking, and Mari kindly provided a delicious breakfast pack for us. Mari is friendly and welcoming, easy to contact and provided brilliant tips for the area. Perfect for a relaxing long weekend away. Would definitely stay here again.

Mari and Rob’s little place is absolutely gorgeous. Comfortable, clean and well equipped. The wood burner and stocked up wood pile made evenings very cosy, to the point I really didn’t want go out! You just can’t help but relax! We were greeted by amazing variety of quality breakfast bits including organic milk and cheese. The directions given were very easy to follow and the restaurant recommendations spot on. Mari, thank you so much, all the little touches made our weekend very special! You are both amazing hosts!

We're back from Mari's feeling refreshed after what can only be described as a five-star experience in a self-catering cottage! The house was very clean, well styled and had everything we needed - plus a few cosy extras like cake, glossy books and a log-burning stove. Our hosts, Mari and Rob, were very kind and accommodating, especially when it came to providing some delicious extras for our dietary requirements, and were happy to advise on tasty places to eat out, and country walks etc. The location, just on the edge of Midhurst and the Cowdray Estate, was spot on for feeling like we were both near enough to be part of the bustle of Midhurst, as well as lovely, peaceful country walks - all within walking distance from the cottage. We just loved being able to spend simple time together in a lovely spacious home from home. It's a fantastic spot in a beautiful part of the country and we hope to return.

The cottage was great and Mari was welcoming and friendly. The cottage was clean, warm, and beautifully furnished with everything you need and in the advert. The food parcel provided by Mari was plentiful and delicious. We would highly recommend the host and cottage, and will indeed do so to friends and family.

Rebecca's place is very convenient for exploring the South Downs. Room was lovely and very homely, we felt very welcome in the house, communication was excellent and Rebecca was very flexible and easy going. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The neighbourhood was "busy" and "cosy". The welcome was fine, and we wish Molly well for getting the money together for her trip abroad. The communication was perfectly adequate, on the whole, and the house was very clean and full of interesting original features. The only issue was washing when the plugs played up. This is central to visitor comfort so really should be sorted immediately (if it hasn't been already).

We had a wonderful time at molly's place. The room was lovely, the bed very comfy and the entire house just great with a beautiful garden. Midhurst is just 10' away on foot and it's a lovely village with all amenities. Molly and her mum are lovely people! Overall a great first airbnb experience!

Both Molly and her Mum were very friendly and welcoming, as was Eva the dog. The house was warm and cosy and the room was lovely with everything I needed. I was able to use the kitchen which was a bonus over the few days that I stayed. Highly recommended.

We had the most relaxing break at this perfect cottage, enjoying cosy nights in front of the fire following great meals in local pubs.

Jane's cottage was the perfect base for exploring the South Downs on foot and by car. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Easebourne is a lovely little village, with various sites of interest within walking distance. We used Jane's well equipped kitchen to make delicious breakfasts and dinners with food bought from the local farm shop (there is also a handy convenience store for other things). The sunny back garden was perfect for having a coffee in the morning - made using the cool coffee machine!

After a warm welcome from Jane and her daughter Grace, we had a wonderful three days stay at Janes cottage, at a lovely spot in Easebourne. Even with the four of us (2 adults, and 2 teenaged daughters), it was a pleasant and homely stay. We were lucky to catch the first sunny and warm week, so have had breakfast everyday outside (even that tiny spot was decorated and kept so lovely). It' s a very complete, comfortable and well kept lovely cottage

Came here for a short break as part of 2 couples. Absolutely love this place, beautifully decorated, clean and charming. The added extra touches like the slippers for all guests, the fresh herbs and the swing chair in the garden made it extra special. Jane was a pleasure to deal with. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

Jane made us feel so welcome and was the perfect host , giving us great tips for things to do and keeping in touch to ensure our stay was flawless .Janes cottage was absolutely beautiful with everything you need for a perfect break . We especially loved the cute little courtyard garden where we sat and ate amidst birdsong on a hot summers evening . This charming little cottage was just as advertised. Jane was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was characterful, very clean and tastefully decorated. There were even lovely comforting touches such as croissants and brownies left for us! The neighbourhood was peaceful with a local pub and village shop. It is possible to walk to nearby Petworth across the beautiful countryside and we spent a lovely day doing so. We can recommend The Horseguard's pub close to the entrance of Petworth Park. On our second day we drove to Jane Austen's house - which was only half an hour by car. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at he cottage. It is a beautiful place and a great location and everything you could want for an escape away. We'd definitely go again. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Veronica was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome in to her lovely Garden Cottage. Her directions and communication upon our late night arrival were so helpful. The cottage was extremely well equipped and, Veronica was also very generous and added some extra home comforts which made our 5 day stay very relaxing. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay here on a short term or long term basis, we will most certainly be telling our friends back in Australia about it!

Wonderful summer weekend stay at the cottage. Beautiful spot with lovely views and peace and quiet. As a couple with a young baby, the cottage was the perfect size for us, very comfortable and very well equipped especially in the kitchen with everything we needed to self-cater and relax at home, as well as a cot to put up in the bedroom. Great South Downs location just a short hop from lovely pubs for lunch (we ate at the Royal Oak and The Fox Goes Free) and lots of walks & village strolls (Midhurst less than 10 mins drive) as well as more adventurous options had we been up for proper hiking. Veronica was a great host and accommodated our last minute booking with ease - we knew she was just next door if we needed anything but the cottage still felt very self-contained and private. Would definitely recommend and would happily book again if/when we return to the area.

Very welcoming and charming host. The location is very tranquil and picturesque and you can walk for miles direct from the cottage but at the same time it is only a few minutes drive to the ameneties at Midhurst The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need for a short break

Being the first guests ever at tony and carols I hope we didn't disappoint,found on a last minute hunt for a special night for my ongoing 40th celebrations we cannot recommend them enough.From the pleasant emails to the endearing and interesting conversation over breakfast we found it a real struggle to leave after out stay!close to Midhurst a nice pub less than 100 metres away and Tony's great local knowledge to compliment Carols perfect breakfast made this a fantastic treat for us! Carol and Tony were so very welcoming and accommodating. The house is gorgeous and we loved waking up in our room with a view over the garden. We had a very cosy night's stay with a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. Carol and Tony were absolutely lovely and I would definitely recommend a stay here. The area of Midhurst is very scenic too so would recommend exploring the local area if you have time.

Writing on behalf of my mum who stayed. A wonderfully happy couple, very approachable and even offer you a cup of tea on arrival. They have 2 houses on site and lots of visitors as they seem to be very popular! Extremely central location of Midhurst and Goodwood down the road. The house itself is rather large, beautifully open planned, modern and spacious... The rooms are very spacious too (most overlooking the surrounding garden) my mum is coming back - I too, for tea! Ein schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage einen eigenen Brunnen gesetzt gepflegten Garten. Christopher war ein freundlicher und liebenswürdiger Gastgeber, das Frühstück war köstlich und wurde in unserem eigenen Speisesaal. Unser Zimmer war sehr privat mit zwei großen Fenstern mit Blick auf den Garten und ein schönes Bad. Sie können an die örtlichen Pub zu Fuß (gutes Essen) und der Cowdray Immobilien Café und Hofladen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Gästehaus. Auf den beiden ersten und zweiten Besuch erlebten wir eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre. Der Besitzer und sein Assistent sind beide sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr entspannend und angenehm. Das geräumige Zimmer war schön furbished und enthalten alles, was ein Gast braucht. Das Frühstück am Morgen war köstlich und machte einen guten Start in den Tag. Das Gästehaus befindet sich in einer schönen und ruhigen Gegend und wir werden auf jeden Fall in der Zukunft zurückkehren.

Meine Frau und ich hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt mit Christopher in Sussex. Wir wurden an der Tür herzlich begrüßt, und wir bald in einem schönen Haus, fast eine Zeitkapsel vor dem Internet, die Einrichtung schön, geschimpft ecletic Mischung von Gemälden und Kunstwerken und mehr Bücher staunte, als Sie einen Stock schütteln könnte bei ! Christopher war der perfekte Gastgeber, sehr hilfreich bei allen Fragen, und nach dem Auspacken und eine Tasse Tee, bald waren wir auf dem Weg nach Chichester (nur 10 Meilen entfernt) für einen Abend. Bei unserer Rückkehr, unser eigenes Avocado grün Bad mit einer guten Dusche ausgestattet bald hatte uns erfrischt. Kein Fernseher, aber viele Bücher einen Blick auf und WIFI Internet verfügbar für die süchtig zu haben. Ein sehr ruhiges Haus und Nachbarschaft, zusammen mit weichen, aber unterstützende Matratzen (nur die zwei Einzelbetten zusammenschieben zu einem Doppelbett machen), für eine perfekt erholsame Nacht gemacht. Der Morgen gekocht oder nicht (vegan Müsli mit Obstsalat) Frühstück schön in einem schönen Speisesaal serviert. Ein wenig teuer für £ 84 für zwei, aber wir waren nach wunderbar sah, auf jeden Fall einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. im Voraus buchen für Rennen in der Nähe von Goodwood, Theater in Chichester oder einem Tag im National Trust Haus bei Petworth Sehr empfehlenswert. Amerikanische Touristen würden bei Christopher Sonder Hause bewundern und welche Sussex zu bieten hat!

My stay at Christopher's house was exactly as I had hoped it would be - I had a warm welcome and the hosts went out of their way to help me when I was late arriving for a wedding in the village. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities you would expect and the breakfast was delicious.
