Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Pontypridd. Il était idéal que nous avons passé une journée à cardiff et jour explorer la Brecon Bracons, les deux demi-heure de route de Pontypridd. L'appartement était belle et se sentait comme une deuxième maison!

L'appartamento era abbastanza grande per tutti e 4 gli adulti ed è stato davvero vicino alla stazione ferroviaria per l'accesso e da Cardiff. Il padrone di casa è stato grande. Eravamo in viaggio da molto lontano così i nostri tempi di arrivo cambiato molto e sono stati molto accomodanti.

From the instant our booking was confirmed the communication with the host was excellent. The apartment was clean, fresh and modern which was a welcome relief after hours on the road. The kitchen is fully decked out and if you are inclined you could cook up a storm. I loved it. The bathroom is super cute and more than sufficient for our family with plenty of fluffy towels. The main bedroom is great and plenty of space for all our luggage. Our kids are aged 10 and 12 and shared the sofa bed in the main lounge area without any issues. We were very grateful that we could use the washing machine and drier and the train station is only a stones throw away. Overall our experience was fantastic and if we had more time it would have been great to stay on.

Alex was very helpful and welcoming, providing exquisite homemade jam and all you needed for a lovely breakfast. The flat was beautifully furnished and just next to the train station for an easy commute to the centre of Cardiff.

This is a very well newly done up flat with lovely views of the river. The heating was on when we arrived which made the flat lovely and toasty. Great communication with owner. Would recommend Indian take away Jamil, about 15 min walk. Will definitely use again when back for visit of Wales.

We reizen veel en zeker weten te waarderen wanneer gemakken schepsel worden beschouwd, kleine details die ons een gelukkige zucht zucht van opluchting en dankbaarheid. Dit was één van die plaatsen. Het bed was zeer comfortabel, zodat in combinatie met de rustige, donkere en geïsoleerde ruimte, we sliepen heel goed. De douche werd gekenmerkt door een regen stijl hoofd en had robuuste stroom en veel warm water. Altijd een pluspunt! Fiona en Patrick duidelijk aan alles gedacht, want er is letterlijk een beetje van alles wat van pas zou komen voor een bezoeker. Ze zetten hun hart in dit appartement. Het ontbijt items en verse eieren van de kippen in de koelkast werden zeer gewaardeerd, en het uitvoeren van de wasmachine 's nachts had geen significante lawaai te maken. De hele regio in deze valleien en rond Cardiff zijn vol interessante en ongewone bezienswaardigheden.

Our stay in Fiona and Patrick’s idyllic home, down a quiet lane and perched on a hill overlooking the rolling hills of South Wales, was picture perfect. The apartment is brand new, beautifully furnished (the bed was so comfortable!), cozy and completely private. Key access with the lock box was easy, and we entered to find that Fiona had left us all we needed for our first breakfast the next morning, including Welsh cakes and fresh eggs from their own free-ranging chickens!!! We spent time in the huge garden chatting with Patrick, and he recommended the pub a short walk down their country lane for a real pub experience of drinks and a simple dinner that first evening. My friend is a huge history buff, so we decided to book a castle tour with Patrick for the next afternoon. Patrick drove us to two local castles, Caerphilly and Coch, and his extensive knowledge of local history and the castles themselves made our visit unforgettable and was well worth the price. Patrick and Fiona, and their lovely home, helped make our trip to South Wales absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended, if you’re lucky enough to visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in wales. The apartment was prestine and had everything we may possibly need including gluten free biscuits and eggs which were very thoughtful. The only area we feel could use some improvement are the outside spaces. Fiona and Patrick were very accommodating and friendly.

For anyone thinking of staying here - it's in a great spot high on a hill, with views for miles out over the countryside and hills. The apartment is large, bright and fresh, and very well equipped with everything I needed for the weekend. The welcome was also very thoughtful, with some food left in the fridge, a friendly note and all sorts of tips for things to do locally (there is a lot - including a good pub a short walk along the lane). Fiona was out, but Patrick and his son were in. They were great hosts - I ate with them one night - and they could not have been more welcoming. I'll stay again if ever I'm near. A great & peaceful place to stay, only 30 mins or so drive from Cardiff.

Flat was well beyond what my family and I expected. The community location had gorgeous views of the Welsh countryside. We truly enjoyed our visit to Wales. John's flat provided a great resting point for my family and I. His hospitality and knowledge of the area was much appreciative. Highly recommend this location to anyone travelling to visit South Wales.

First time using airbnb so hope this review is written correctly... Lovely located property at the foot of the valleys, perfect for a cycling or out doors getaway base. Property has basics, sky, WiFi and everything you'd need. No luxuries but you're getting what you pay for the essentials. If in doubt of what kitchen utensils there are then bring your own. I.e. we brought our own coffee making facilities... because we're cyclists lol! Beds were comfortable and shower great! Property was very clean too...

Anne and Mike were very hospitable and made us feel welcome. Their apartment was clean and comfortable and the separate large living room had a view out to the beautiful garden. The location was semi-rural and very tranquil and only 20 minutes drive into Cardiff. The hosts were very helpful while at the same time respectful of our space. Would highly recommend the place.

Well I'm back home after what was a great airbnb experience. Both very friendly and welcoming hosts who bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. (Even giving me a lift to the wedding) their home is lovely and I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful!! This was my first time ever staying at a Air B&B and this wonderful couple set the bar very high. They were so welcoming and willing to help us figure out hints worth doing and how much time to spend at each. Highly highly recommend (:

Awesome place to stay with beautiful garden.. greens and quite town away from the busy city. You need a car to travel around Cardiff . The house has almost all facililities .. the kitchen supplies and utensils were just superb.. wok and pots n pans for Asian cooking. Beds n linen were sufficient.. loved the patio. Overall we loved this cosy home. Contacting the host was quite difficult as no reply left on text messaging except emails. Overall i would come back to stay here as the kids loved the patio and the birds in the garden and beautiful flowers.

Wir haben für fast drei Monate im Rahmen einer Verlagerung von Australien nach Wales an Herrn Palmer Haus geblieben. Wir haben unseren längeren Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel, verfügt über alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten wie schnellen Internet. Der Garten hat eine schöne Aussicht auf das Tal und die Berge. Das Haus ist ruhig und die Bus-Parks buchstäblich vor dem Haus für einen einfachen Zugang zu Cardiff (~ 40min.). Man könnte auch zu Fuß durch den Wald auf einem Fußweg andere Busse zu bekommen (132) oder mit dem Zug direkt nach Cardiff Queen St-Station oder Central. Die Lage ist also groß zu allen Aspekten: ein kleines Dorf mit freundlichen Einheimischen und die unmittelbare Nähe zu Cardiff oder Caerphilly. Hinweis ein modernes Kino (Showcase Cinemas Heol-Yr-Odyn) ist in der Nähe auch! Wir fanden, Herr Palmer eine ausgezeichnete, fürsorgliche Gastgeber zu sein. Er reagierte schnell und effizient auf alle unsere Wünsche und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr komfortabel. Seine Ratschläge auf dem berühmten lokalen Pub / Restaurant nur 2 min. zu Fuß vom Haus wurden sehr geschätzt. Wir empfehlen wärmstens dieses Pub und ein Restaurant für alle zukünftigen Gäste. I booked the cottage for my colleague on a business trip and she has asked me to book it whenever possible as she loved it so much. Her report back was that it was very clean and well kept and the welcome pack was very very welcome. Robert was a great communicator and very accommodating when Di arrived extremely late. We would definitely recommend the cottage.

Myself, 2 girlfriends and my dog stayed here for a hiking weekend in the Brecon Beacons. Great price and a easy drive into the Beacons (where accommodation can be costly). Gail was friendly and accommodating - we had a great stay.

El apartamento es grande y espacioso. Fue maravilloso tener una cocina para poder hacer té y café. Gail proporcionó una agradable y cálida bienvenida. Nous avons tous adoré Tonwynglais et cet appartement et recommanderions sans hésiter. Nous étions un groupe de 2 adultes et 4 adolescents avec un chien. L'emplacement était génial, parking facile, avec des hôtes accueillants. Même avec un pub sur la route que nous avons pas été dérangés. Le chinois local était délicieux et le dépanneur était bien approvisionné. Asda est une courte distance en voiture et énorme. L'appartement est très agréable, très confortable et impeccable avec des hôtes qui semblent avoir pensé à tout.

la place de Jenny est exactement comme décrit, propre, moderne et tout à condition que vous auriez besoin! Belle pub sur la route avec la bonne nourriture. Tout un homme qui travaille loin des besoins de la maison !! Les hôtes ont été brillants avec une bonne communication rapide. Travailler à Cardiff pendant un certain temps il en sera un air de défi séjournant chez Jenny à nouveau.

Our family of four stayed at Jenny's and we felt taken care of and very comfortable! We had a nice treat waiting for us after a long drive. You walk in, and it feels homey, without being cluttered and it's clean and smells fresh. The linens and towels are fluffy as advertised. The pub across the street wasn't loud (but then again, we went in March and it rained the whole time). Spacious living and dining room. Comfy couches and well-lit. It used to be a shop, so the soundproofing on the floors isn't perfect, but a little creaking here and there didn't really bother us. Walking distance to the Castle Coch (if you like hills) and a short trip into Cardiff (20 minutes). I would definitely recommend.
