From the moment in step inside, you just know you are in for a treat. The apartment is beautifully located, extremely comfortable and Heather has thought of every single detail to make your stay amazing. The kitchen is well equipped and there was enough food to keep you going for a week if you needed it !!! Fresh milk and a bottle of wine were very welcomed. The bathroom was incredibly clean and modern, the beds very comfortable and loads of lovely bed linen and towels. Great wifi, loads of games and books and some lovely fresh flowers. The Mill cafe is a little sun trap to enjoy morning coffee and fabulous breakfasts and watch the barges go by, and see the ducks swimming about. It really was a home from home. We loved every minute and Heather is a marvelous host. We will certainly visit again and again

Mike en zijn vrouw hebben een mooi huis op hun paard boerderij, ze waren erg gastvrij en we voelden ons thuis. De communicatie is erg makkelijk en ze gaven ons leuke tips van plaatsen om te bezoeken en waar te eten in het gebied. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt.

The cottage was brilliant. The location and the scenery take your stress away. The place is newly built, clean and very practical. Mike was very friendly and helpful at the same time we had our privacy. The kids had a fabulous time stroking the horses. There are plenty of local walks available and the centre of peak district is only 45 min away. There is a local co-op which opens till 10pm every day which is very handy.

Positive experience overall, Gulshan was good host and the property was very well situated for a walk into Prestbury. Plenty of space and garden was lovely, only negative was the very steep spiral staircase to mezzanine where bedroom was situated. With bathroom on ground floor it would have felt inconvenient for more than one night. Overall decent stay though.

Very helpful hosts and no problem finding the location. Great to have your own space but be so close to the village, which has lots of restaurants, cafes and pretty shops. Used the table and chairs outside in the garden for breakfast, very peaceful area. Good value considering the price.

We spent an entire weekend over here and we loved it. It's really spacious in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. Can't recommend enough!

A great little house set in the grounds of a larger house! The hosts were lovely - very friendly, easy going and happy to help. The staircase is very steep and narrow though, so not suitable for toddlers. The town (Prestbury) is about a 10 minute walk and has cafes and restaurants etc, plus there's a handy co-op about 5 minutes away. All in all, a very easy going weekend with space to do homework (the children's, not mine!) and use of the garden too.

Lovely clean apartment, all new fixtures and fittings and a very convenient location for Macclesfield town centre, shops and railway station. Nadine was very responsive and provided clear instructions on how to access the apartment, which was just as advertised.

Lovely stay in a very homely and comfortable house. Lots of character but thoroughly (and tastefully) modernised and exceptionally clean and tidy throughout. Great hill walking right from the door and a gentle stroll into the village for food and drink in the evening.

Very close to a good walk in the Peak District. A good choice of eating places, Church restaurant very good.

We had a great time at this cottage. It us comfortable, clean and well equipped. Both gardens are well kept and good for sitting out in. Bollington is a pretty town with great pubs and restaurants and many places to walk straight from the door. Also close to the Goyt valley and Buxton. We had some rainy days but that didn't restrict us and some welcome sunshine which was a bonus. I would recommend this place and Bethany was,a great host wh communicated well and as a new air b n b'er, made the whole process easy!

I very much enjoyed my stay at Bethany's and in particular the open fire, especially as it was cold outside. The cottage has everything you need to cook, relax etc.

Brilliant location for a quiet break; there are nearby walks to town for cafes, Clarence Mill and White Nancy, all nearby. The walks to White Nancy and along the ridge could be as long or as short as you have time for. The cottage was amazing, clean, with good TV viewing options. The bed was comfy and the open fire was the most enjoyable feature for us. Bethany's timely communication was appreciated and she gave clear directions/instructions regarding the cottage and the nearby activities. We would really like to go back on another occasion.

I had a lovely stay at the Artizana Suite in the pretty village of Prestbury. Ramez is the perfect host and a real gentleman. He made sure I had all the information I needed, made the check-in process simple and was on hand with any questions, including advice about the local restaurants. The apartment is well specified with everything you would need for your stay. It was easy to find the things I needed and is well laid out and proportioned. Views from the front are great, across to some boutique shops and restaurant. Traffic noise is minimal and the apartment is well insulated. You will have a peaceful stay. The apartment is also very private and secure and the parking right next to the property is a bonus. There's a convenience store just around the corner and it's well connected for roads, rail and shopping. The breakfast ingredients were provided and of a high quality, with muesli, natural yoghurt, fruit, juices, eggs, bacon, croissants, bread and preserves. It was more than I expected and very much appreciated. Everything was well presented and immaculately clean. I wouldn't hesitate to book again and hope to stay many more times in Artizana Suite. Another great stay at Artizana Suite. Everything was as I had remembered it; very well presented, immaculately clean and very well situated. Ramez is very attentive and helpful and goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Prestbury Village is very nice and quiet with some lovely shops, pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep. Private parking in a small courtyard behind the Suite is a bonus!

Kate was a generous and welcoming host. The accomadation was clean and very comfortable and a great location in the centre of town. I was working in Macclesfield and only had a little time to explore the town and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend staying.

Katie and Roberta were very kind and welcomed me into their home straight away. The house was very tidy, with full access to use the kitchen, washing machine and equipment. On some nights we cooked each other dinner and socialised with them in the kitchen. The house very safe and in a very good location for shopping, parks, gyms, hospital and train station, all within a 10-15 minute walk.

Lovely weekend in a lovely place

Clare made us feel so welcome - especially since we were visiting there with some elderly/handicap relatives AND toddler - a tough combination. We stayed for a week, used even the trampoline and football and woodland walk and flying foxes (mossy but fun!), and managed to have a great stay even amongst navigating w the wheelchair. (It is NOT wheelchair friendly accommodation, but we managed to get auntie into the main room w minor finagling and a ramp, and Clare was so helpful with it all!) We will definitely return on our next visit to auntie.

We loved Eddisbury Hall Cottage. We were made to feel most welcome and very much appreciated all the little touches- even fresh (EMAIL HIDDEN)fy beds, decent linen and furnishings, peaceful surroundings and fabulous grounds to explore. The kids loved the woods. We wholeheartedly recommend a stay here, it surpassed our expectations. Thanks a lot Clare.

Lovely place just outside Macclesfield beside the owners home. Close to town but with great views over Macclesfield. We had a 7 year old with us who loved the assault course and zip wires and trampoline in the woods behind. The cottage has two bedrooms. Downstairs toilet so be warned if you get up a lot in the night but it was very well equipped and cosy. Also there were lots of toys for kids and board games and information for local walks.

A well presented cottage, which is clean and well positioned. Chris was welcoming and hospitable. Alderley Edge is around a 5-7min walk around, and if you want to get a taxi, Uber's are available. Wilmslow Artisan Market, which is open on Saturday 10-4 is worth a visit. The De Trafford pub down the road as some great ales .

Lovely cottage, Chris was really easy to deal with and it's in a lovely central location.

Chris is very friendly and great with communication. If travelling in winter, note that the bathroom is freezing... even with radiator on full whack as the room is uninsulated. Good restaurants and bars 10 min walk away, and lovely countryside walls two mins away.

We had a bit of difficulty finding the cottage, but a call to Chris sorted our all problems. Chris was helpful and came round to check we had everything as soon as he got back. The cottage is delightful, and well placed for visiting the area. We had a minor problem with the heating, which I'm sure will be sorted. All in all, an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

Odd that one of the nicest places I've stayed in should be my worst airbnb experience but that is precisely the story. The landlord agreed to meet me there at 2pm, I'd informed him of the time as requested by him and he failed to show up or notify me that he wasn't showing up. The property is behind closed electronic gates and it was 5 or 10 minutes before the housekeeper opened the gates; she seemed completely unaware of my booking. I'd made it clear to the host that I had work in the area and on unpacking I checked and saw there was a wifi signal but no password in the cottage. I went to the main house to ask the Housekeeper for the password but she didn't know it and called 2 hours later to say she couldn't get it. The host describes the cottage as having a kitchen but a better description would be a non-functional kitchen. There was a hob installed but no pans or cooking implements. There was a toaster but no fridge and since there was nowhere to keep butter... Similarly, there was a kettle but again, nowhere to keep milk. In the morning the milk we'd brought with us had gone off so we left early to find a café for coffee and breakfast. I texted the landlord in the morning and asked him how we were supposed to make breakfast. My hosts response was "You need to measure the experience against the description. I cant see anywhere in my listing where I tell you that the cottage comes with pans, fridge, wifi etc. He went on to say "with respect, it's a gross exaggeration to suggest that there is no ability to make breakfast." I'll let the reader decide how that would be achieved with no pans, cooking implements, or fridge in which to store food or milk! The host then chose to turn my question and complaint into a running argument, reminding me that "There's an excellent system (on airbnb) for asking questions about a properties features . Particularly if you have specific requirements." I generally retain a simplistic view of airbnb... the clue is in the bnb bit, cleanliness, wifi, a decent bed and a breakfast or the facilities to make breakfast; I've never before been made to feel that these were unusual or 'specific requirements.' The property itself is very nice but the idiom 'spoil the ship for a Ha'p'orth of tar' seems perfectly applied.
