Villa Cervo nel Voltigno is a lovely villa with a fenced garden, surrounded by the nature of "Le Scalate", a green residential area in the municipality of Villa Celiera, within Gran Sasso-Monti della Laga National Park (in the so-called “Distretto delle Grandi Abbazie”).
The property consists of a large living room with a fireplace and a dining table, a kitchen, 6 bedrooms (for a total of 16 beds), 4 bathrooms, a games room, two terraces, a porch and a garage. Arranged over 3 levels, it covers a total area of over 200sqm.
Villa Cervo nel Voltigno is located in the so-called “Grandi Abbazie” district, within Gran Sasso-Monti della Laga National Park. The name of the villa is linked to the fact that here it is very common to come across roe deer, as well as foxes, wolves, wild cats, squirrels, birds of prey... Local vegetation is mainly characterised by beech woods; as for shrubs, the dog rose and red juniper are pretty common here; among spontaneous flowers, we find countless species of Orchids.
Two webcams have been installed which provide "live" images and make time-lapses of the last 24 hours: often, especially at night, they show deer and other animals grazing in the area.
Villa Celiera is located 40 km from Pescara - and then from the beach - which can be reached in 5 minutes by car. It is the best place for some delicious "arrosticini", but also for some good traditional dishes, whose recipes have been handed down from generation to generation, served by the typical restaurants in the area, such as "Fungarolo", "Le Quercie", "Stella", "Nonno Liborio", "Li Sitaccir", "Parco del Voltigno"...
